Chapter Fourteen

I don't respond shocked and after a few seconds push him away saying, "No I can't do this."

"Why not?" he says exasperated not letting go of my shirt.

"Because I don't want to hurt you." I say prying his hands off my shirt.

"But you're hurting me by not even giving us a chance." he says hurt in his voice.

"I can't do this Will...Everyone I love dies." I quietly say doubting he can even hear me looking away from him.

I feel a hand on my back and hear him scoot closer to me before saying, "I'm not going anywhere Nico. You're not gonna loose me and I know you'll regret not giving me a chance."

I look at him and he has a small smile on his face when he leans in again.

His lips hover over mine for a second before softly meeting them. His kiss is gentle and sweet showing me he truly cares. I respond our lips molding together slowly hesitant as if this bubble will break.

Breaking the kiss for air I give him a small smile saying, "That was my first kiss."

"Really? It's an honor." he says putting his hand on my face brushing his thumb over my cheek soothingly.

"No I'm grateful my first kiss was with someone that cares for me as I do them." I say smiling genuinely at him.

"What a sap!" he says tapping my nose.

"OK whatever." I say laying down again him following resting his head on my shoulder.

"Nico I hate to say this but I'm cold. Can we go inside?" I look at him goosebumps on his arms him smiling sheepishly.

"Sure. Let's go." I say not able to keep the smile off my face.

We climb down and enter the cabin taking our separate beds saying goodnight and eventually falling asleep peacefully for once. Or so I thought...

Ω Dream Starts Ω

"So you've saved your precious Will and were able to get the crown congratulations." I hear a sinister voice deep in the shadows of the forest we're in.

Not being able to talk she continues, "Your father said if I manage to get the crown without killing you and return it to him he'll let me live in the fields of Asphodel. Which is what Im going to do so watch your back kid. Because when you get out of that camp Im going to take the crown and even if I can't kill you I can kill him." a laugh that gives me shivers sounds echoing and I want to attack the voice but the scene changes.

I'm in a fancy hotel room overlooking Disneyland. There I see a man in classic Mickey Mouse ears with a white tank top, black shades, and light blue shorts now looking straight at me.

Apollo.

"Hey there Nico just enjoying the great view of one of my favorite places on earth. I admire Walt Disney and fun fact he was just a mortal not a halfblood. I met him twice, once before he made the park and once after. He truly was one of the happiest humans on this world. What an amazing guy but I'm gonna stop rambling and tell you there's a girl waiting for you outside of the camp." he says quickly.

I nod about to speak but he continues, "I feel a rhyme coming. There's a girl waiting for you outside of the camp. Be careful don't fall in her trap. And she's gonna have a cap." he beams at his rhyme and I put a thumbs up.

"Thanks I know I'm great. Also thanks for what you did with Will. Saving him from that poison with the crown smart but he will be hearing voices for another week or so just a side effect. Before I go there will be some drachmas in your bag so you guys can get yourselves some cleaner better clothes. You look terrible, sadly our time is up good luck with getting back to Camp. And be careful." he finishes.

Ω Dream Ends Ω

I wake up with a light coat of sweat on my forehead and I swipe it off with my hand. Sitting up I look at Will.

He's on his stomach, mouth slightly open and his hand falling off the bed. I smirk, "If the punk could see himself now."

Putting my hands on my eyes I decide to get up on the roof again to hopefully relax.

I change into a black hoodie and some sweats leaving the warm cabin into the cold night air. A smile graces my lips as I climb up the ladder onto the roof where the stars are as bright as ever.

I start thinking about the dream and I know there will be a girl outside of the camp waiting for me and Will. What's up with girls trying to take the crown? All for girl power but can I just get a break from guys and girls trying to kill me or my boyf- friend Will.
Wait...is he my boyfriend? Are we just closer friends? But we kissed so that has to mean something right? This is too confusing! I'll just ask him in the morning.

As much as I try my head keeps bringing me back to Will. I knew I cared about him since the beginning... As a friend. But now that I've developed these feelings for him I've also developed a weakness.

This hunter girl is aiming at Will because somehow she figured out my feelings towards him. I can't let anyone else die because of me. Especially not Will. I would never forgive myself.

After a few minutes of looking at the stars and naming some constellations I decide to go back to bed. Yawning I go down the ladder and into the cabin feeling my eyes go droopy and feet begin to drag. Not paying attention I collapse on my bed snuggling up to my weirdly warm pillow deciding to ignore that.

I fall asleep to the smell of a berry scent and arms wrapping around me.

So we got some Solangelo snuggling and a kiss. You. Are. Welcome. Next chapter will also be a nice calm chapter and soon chaos will be released into Solangelos lives.
