Kiss Me

Chapter Eight

"Unless you want to ask for forgiveness or your telling me your leaving then I don't want to here it." she says not even looking up.

"This is serious and frankly we don't have time too argue." Hazel says.

"Your so called "loyal" campers just harassed and where planning on killing Will! So if you don't do something about it I will...I will..." I start to grip the table feeling nauseas. I groan falling to my knees and my head falling to my chest.

"Nico what's wrong?!" Will says putting his hand on forehead and doing a medical procedure.

The ground my feet has cracks and realize I'm losing control. An army of skeletons might appear at any second so I start with my breathing.

'Come on. Control yourself!' I yell at myself.

"Nico what's wrong? Please tell me?" Hazel then yells at me.

"Shut up! Shut up!" I scream at them making me go on all fours.

The room goes quiet and my breathing calms down. I slowly get up with Hazel's help and tell Reina, "As you can see my patience is very thin now will you let us do an announcement asking that the people with the crown step forward or will I have to do it on my own matters." I say looking straight at Reyna leaning on Hazel.

She looks confused about what she should do. She looks at all of us at a time before settling at me saying, "Fine," she says, "But I will not announce it. You must so that yourself. Now let's go it's time." she says standing up and walking out the door to their "eating area". We all follow and get food except me, I just get an apple and water (not that hungry).

She goes up to the front that's a bit raised so the campers can see her and starts talking. She says announcements and all the boring the gods yadda yadda yadda and finally looks at us making me stand. I tell everyone I'll take care of it and go up with only Hazel.

Reyna steps down and leaves to the back telling everyone to focus their attention on us.

I'm about to step forward when Hazel holds me back and whispers, "I'll do it. You'll just scare everyone."

I don't even have time to argue when she says, "Hey guys. My name is Hazel and this is Nico if you didn't know." she says pointing at me and I just cross my arms glaring at the crowd.

"Anyways I have an important announcement..." but before she can say anything someone yells, "It's Pluto's kid! Do you need more people in your cult to sacrifice?" they say and the back tables all laugh.

I noticed that the back tables consist of the Mars (Ares), Vulcan (Hephaestus), and Fauns (satyrs). Then the middle part is the Venus (Aphrodite), Apollo, and Mercury (Hermes). While the front is Minerva (Athena) and lesser known gods.

I shake off the comment only a little ticked off and Hazel tries to continue. "I just need a few more minutes and that would be... "

Again she doesn't finish because someone says, "Hopefully he dies by the time your done so I don't have to look at his face again!" Another guy says making more people laugh.

I start to tap my feet in frustration and the campers notice. "Look here guys we've ticked off the living corpse." Hazel tries to get back in control and so does Reyna but that doesn't stop them.

I was brushing it off my shoulders because I'm used to it but what they say next has me trembling with anger, "Aye mates I heard his sister died being squashed by a giant foot. How noble!"

I start to tremble shaking and I see Will get up quickly noticing. 'No one gets away with talking about my sister like that. NO ONE.' I feel a pull to the Earth and fall to my knees and soon on all four.
