When they meet

Percy P.O.V

"Get out of my house, you useless brat!!" Gabe shouted at Percy and throwing some alcohol bottles at him. Percy get out of the house with a few cuts on his body. Bloods flowing out from the cuts, but percy didn't care. This isn't the first time being kick out from the house.

By the way, Gabe is Percy's stepfather, a horrible stepfather that treat him like a servant. He has 1 stepbrother and stepmother. The whole family treated him as a servant. If he doesn't obey them, they won't give him food. You must be wondering why percy doesn't report to the police? Well, he did. But that time, he was merely 5 years old. When the police came the Family, they act innocent, they act like they adore Percy, even in front of the neighbours, so the police can't do anything.

Like I said, this isn't the first time he being kicked out from the house. So, as usual, he walk to an alley which is warmer and sit beside the garbage bin, hoping the garbage bin will block some winter wind from hitting him. Percy's only wearing a plain white shirt and a tattered jeans. Without a sweater makes him feel cold, shivering. As always, keeping his mind busy so he will not fall asleep and get hypothermia, he's thinking about his parents. "why do they leave me" percy whispered to no one in particular. "Since they don't even love me, why do they give birth to me???!!!" Percy said louder this time, but he's still shivering from the cold.

"Listen here, little punk!! Just give your bracelet and I'll let you go." Percy saw one guy which seems to be around 16 threatening 2 girls. Percy was tired of being bullied. So, he got up and walk toward them. "Leave them alone" percy said to the teenager.

"What are you gonna do? Hit me? I can kick you off the streets if I want to" the teenager threaten percy to stay out of this. Percy saw the two girls, one with blond hair curled like a princess and her intimidating grey eyes, another girl has black hair in punk style and with blue electric eyes.

Anger roar over percy, he step between the teenager and the two girls. He wants to protect them. But he doesn't know why. Next, the only thing he remembered was he hit the teenager in the gut by surprised. When the teenager is about to hit him back, percy quickly hits him at the spot where the sun doesn't shine.

"I will remember you!! Someday, you are going to regret for that!!" The teenager walk off in pain, leaving percy with the 2 girls.

"Thanks for saving us, I'm Thalia" the black hair girl hold out her hand indicating for a hand shake.

"You're welcome. I'm Percy Jackson"

"This is my friend, Annabeth" Thalia pointed to the blond hair girl.
