Epilogue

Percy P.O.V

It's been a week since I came to Camp Half Blood. I had called my mom and informed her that I'm safe. She said that she knows this day would come, and she's moving back to New York so that she can be close to me. And guess what, the familiar girl I saw on my first day is Annabeth! We were now walking on the beach, enjoying the sunset.

"So... Why you've stopped replying my letters?" I asked nervously. I wanted an answer from her. I needed to know the reason. I've been worried for so long.

"I..." She stopped walking, her eyes looking out over the sea. "I found out I'm a demigod after a few months you left. I came to camp after that." She sighed.

"But you still could send me letters. Do you know how worried I am?" I hold her shoulders so that she was facing me. I didn't even realized I was half shouting.

"I'm scared... scared that you'll think I'm a freak." She murmured, staring at her shoes, trying to avoid my gaze. Her words hit me. I felt like I was stabbed in the heart, slowy bleeding to my death. I should have cared more about what she's facing. I had let her faced all of this alone. I felt like a jerk. 

I moved closer to her and pulled her into a tight hug. She didn't protest and hug me back. I buried my face in her hair. Her hair smelled like lemon. "I'm so sorry... I'm blaming you for letting me worried and here you're scared of what I think of you. I'm a jerk.. I miss you Annabeth.." I kept apologies to her and hug her even tighter, not wanting to let her go anymore.

"I miss you too.." Annabeth choked, trying to hold back her tears. 

We stay like that for who knows how long, until I pulled away. I wiped her tears away and brushed her hair behind her ears. I looked into her eyes. Those beautiful grey eyes. I leaned forward and closed the gaps between our lips. She did the same thing. When our lips met, I swear I could see fireworks everywhere and my stomach was tight into a knot. Her hands moved to my neck while I put my hands around her waist. It felt like I could melt right away.

When both of us pulled back for air, I could see her blushing. I leaned forward again so that our foreheads were touching. "I love you." I said dreamily, looking into her eyes. 

"I love you too" She replied, using her thumb to brushed against the corner of mouth.

I laced my fingers into hers as we continued our walk along the beach. But this time, it's full of laughter and there is no more awkwardness between the both of us.

No matter what I'm going to faced in the future or who am I going to be, as long as I have Annabeth beside me, I won't be afraid of anything and we will solve the problem together.

And this is only the starting of my adventure and my mysterious life.

I just wanna tell you guys that I just had an exam today and it didn't really go, so I'm really not in a good mood. But I still have to give you guys the last chapter.
