When they meet

After Helen(Mrs.Ker) left, I kept thinking about Percy.

*********Flashback**********

(Percy was only 1 years old)

I was on my way to fetch Percy at a Day Care centre after school. The traffic was busy as always. When I arrived at the building, I quickly stopped my car and went in the building.

I always felt relieve when I see Percy. Although he was merely 1 years old, his laughter will make me smile, when he's crying, my heart will pain. He was everything to me. Especially... especially when his father left us...

I went inside the centre. But there was no one there. Usually there will be a woman sitting at the counter. But today, the centre was empty.

I went to a room where all babies and toddlers are resting. The room was bright. There was no one in there too. I went to the cradle where Percy was sleeping.

I was shocked when I saw Percy was strangling 2 snakes, each in his small hands. I quickly take the snakes away from him and hold him in my hands, checking if there is any injuries. He was smiling at me. His beautiful green eyes and black hair makes him cute.

"Mommy.." Percy kept smiling. I kiss his forehead and hold him tightly in my arm as if afraid something might hurt him.

********End of flashback********

"Morning Miss Jackson" a student greeted as she walked in the class and take a seat. I quickly wipe off all the tears away and prepare for my next class.

The bell rang. Indicating school is over. I kept all my things, took my handbag and headed for my car. I kept thinking of Percy when he was a baby.

*******Another Flashback*******

It was late at night. I was on my bed reading a novel. *Knock* *knock*

I turned to face the door and ready to get out of the bed. The door opens slightly. "Mommy?" Percy said with a quiver in his voice. I walked to percy and knelt down, "what's wrong honey?" I ask as I cupped his cheek.

"Nightmare.." Still look frightened.

"Oh dear.. Do you want to sleep with me?" He nodded quickly.

I carry him to my bed and tugged him in. "Goodnight sweatheart" I kiss his forehead. "Goodnight Mommy" he said as he closed his eyes.

*******End of Flashback*******

I was so deep in thought, I didn't even realized I ran into someone. "Oh! I'm so sorry.. I should've look..." I help her pick up the papers that are scattered to the floor. "It's okay Miss Jackson." The student reply.

I continue walked towards the school front door and to the car park. Another memory flashback in to my mind. It was happy at first, but then it was only pure pain.

***Another Flashback Again***

(Percy was 1 years old and 6month older)

"Mommy!" Percy shouted from the living room. I was preparing lunch in the kitchen. I set aside all the things I'm doing and went to the living room. He was sitting near the door and wearing his shoes. I walked over and knelt down. "Mommy.." Percy said pointing at his little shoes which he just wore. But the problem is his left shoe is on his right foot and his right shoe is on his left foot.

"Hey, little hero. Why are you wearing your shoes right now?" I promised to bring Percy to the beach after we had lunch. "Beach!!" He said with a smile on his face. "How can you go to the beach when you're wearing your shoes wrongly?" I pulled him on to my lap, kiss his forehead and help him change his shoes.

Percy kept smiling at me and I swear that I can even sit right there for the whole day as long as Percy is beside me. "Love Mommy" he said and hold out his hands, attempt to hug me. I pulled him into a hug as I chuckle. "I love you too honey" I said and kiss his hair.

After we had lunch, I brought Percy to the beach. He just loves the sea so much... just like his father...

"Mommy!" I was snapped out of my thought. Percy was pointing to the sea as if longing for his long lost friend. "You just couldn't wait, huh? " I chuckle.

Playing with Percy was the best time I ever had. We were playing water near the sea.

"Ice cweam!" percy screamed pointing to an ice cream truck near the beach.

"You want ice cream, huh?" Percy nodded. I carry Percy out of the water and placed him near where we put our belongings.

"You be a good boy and stay here, okay? I'll go get you some ice cream" I said and kissed his forehead before I get up and walk towards the ice cream truck.

There was a long queue. I quickly lined up and look back at Percy. He was smiling at my direction. I waved at him. After a few minutes, I was already infront of the line. I turned my attention back to the ice cream man and ordered a small cup of ice cream.

After I bought a small cup of ice cream, I walk back to where we put our belongings.

"Percy?" But Percy was no where to be seen. Our things were still there, but Percy was gone. I had a horrible feeling. I was so scared. I looked around for Percy, hoping he was tired of waiting me and went nearby to play.

After searching and asking almost all the people in the beach, I started to break down. "Percy... Where are you.." I was sobbing really hard.

"Hey! Are you okay?" someone knelt down beside me and asked.

"I lost my son..." I cried.

"Let's report to the polis. By the way, I'm Paul Blofis." The man said. I just nodded.

After the polis arrived, they kept asking question about how it happen, how Percy looks like and blah blah blah blah... They then finally suspect Percy was kidnapped, because a one and a half year old boy can't run to far by himself.

Paul offered to send me home as i was really tired from crying. I just stood up quietly and walk towards his car as Paul help me to pack my things. Before I hop in Paul's car, I looked back to the beach, hoping Percy will suddenly appear at the beach, come running towards me and say "Mommy, don't leave." Just like when I leave him at the day care centre every morning.

But I was wrong. Percy was not here anymore, he's not with me anymore. I can't hear him laughing nor talking or see him smiling anymore, and that broke my heart into million pieces.

******End of Flashback******

"Percy!" I heard someone called out as I was walking towards the front door. I looked at the direction where the voice came from. Thalia, Annabeth and Percy was at the front door. They started to walk down the streets.

When I was about to head back to my car, I caught a glimpse of two teenagers who were sneaking behind them. And when I said sneaking, I really mean it. They were like scared someone would caught them in action or something.

Would they harm Percy? I was so worried. I follow them behind and make sure they didn't saw me.
