Anyway! the updates may be a bit slower now because I'm in my final year of university and it's just assignment after assignment but alas, I shall try and keep the updates to my regular every two weeks.
Hope you enjoy chapter four :)

Clara's POV
When I got back to work, I didn't expect it to be as hectic as it was.
As soon as I walked through the doors, Devin and Juno came running straight towards me. From the looks of their expressions, I knew shit was about to go down,
"Clara. You need to follow us now." Devin said.
I nodded immediately and followed them up to my office. To my surprise, Niko was standing in the middle of my office waving a gun around, while keeping hold of my PA Helena,
"Instead of talking to your lawyer as you so kindly put it. How about I talk to you instead?" he spat at me.
I raised my palms in defence, "Look, you want to talk to me right? How about you let Helena go and we can talk."
He laughed and shook his head, "Do you take me for a fool? Don't patronise me."
I was a powerful dragon. Devin was a powerful mage and Juno was a powerful succubus. However, that didn't mean we could just go around using our strength and abilities to harm humans. That wasn't the type of supernaturals we defined ourselves as.
Humans and supernaturals have been living in harmony for a while now, despite the few human hunters that lingered around, but they weren't really that big of a deal to us, especially lately.
The best thing to do in a situation like this, was try to calm him down. Helena was a human, but she had yet to learn skills to defend herself. She was my PA, things like this weren't meant to happen. I needed to remind myself to teach her how to fight later on.
I turned around to face Devin and handed her my jacket with my phone in it, "Take this and leave."
She looked at me incredulously but I mouthed two words to her, so she nodded and left the room with Juno in tow. I really hoped she understood what I said otherwise this would turn out badly.
I took in a deep breath and turned back to face Niko, "Listen, you don't have to do any of this."
He ran the gun down Helena's face, making her shake in fear. If I could just transform into my dragon I would, but I can't afford to have my identity revealed, nor would the room be able to fit my true dragon form, although I knew if Helena was put into even more danger, I might just have to. She had always been like a mother figure to me ever since I started up the company ten years ago. She guided me most of the time, which is something that I needed and appreciated more than she could ever know,
"Isn't it weird how the tables have turned? Originally you didn't want to listen to me but now, you seemed to have changed your mind."
"Because I want Helena to be safe. Just explain to me what this is all about."
He dragged Helena to my desk chair and threw her down into it, but never once lowering his gun,
"You know. I know you're a supernatural, but I just can't figure out which one. So, I decided to load this gun with one of each bullet made for every dominant supernatural known to man. How crazy would it be if you just happened to die by the bullets that you manufacture?"
