Audrey's POV

I won.

I can't believe I actually won. I mean, it wasn't like I was confident I was going to lose but there were times during that fight where I was ready to say goodbye but I just thought about Clara and pulled through to win.

As I was waving to the crowd, I turned to the royal box so I could make eye contact with Clara, but she wasn't there. I scanned the box multiple times hoping to locate her but I couldn't see her anywhere.

When I bit her, we make a link with each other. It's not as powerful as a werewolf link, where we could feel each other's emotions or pain but it was strong enough for me to know when she was far away from me.

It felt like she was moving further away from me but I just put that down to the fact that she had left the royal box. Maybe she was waiting for me in the back so I pushed it to the side for now and continued waving to the crowd. Clara was going to be so proud of me.

The Queen raised her hand and slowly, everyone stopped clapping and the crowd went silent,

"Audrey Sullivan. You are the winner of the Dranthoven Successor Match and the new Queen of Dranthoven. Soon, you will have your coronation to make it official. Until then, I give you my utmost congratulations, your majesty."

She bowed to me and the crowd followed suit and bowed to me as well. I smiled weakly, not really used to this much attention before waving and making my way out of the arena to a round of applause.

I did give Caztiel's body one last look though before I made my exit. Usually I feel bad about killing people but Caztiel was just an asshole, plain and simple and strangely enough, I felt no remorse whatsoever and if that made me a bad person, so be it.

When I exited the arena, I looked around, hoping to spot Clara, but I couldn't find her anywhere.

People kept coming up to me to congratulate me, but I didn't really care about that right now. All I cared about was finding Clara and seeing her smile proudly at me.

I looked around for her for at least ten minutes but she was nowhere to be seen and it felt like my heart was being pulled out of my chest as the minutes went by. I could literally feel Clara get further and further away from me and I was panicking.

She didn't leave me. She couldn't leave me. She said she wasn't leaving me. Right before I went into the fight, she said she wasn't leaving.

I ran both hands through my hair in frustration and panic. I didn't know what to do. She could've gone anywhere and I didn't have the resources to find her that easily.

How could she just leave me like this? She said she loved me and she'd be here when I won. Did the time we spent together mean nothing to her?

"Audrey!" Juno shouted out behind me. I turned to face her and my eyes narrowed in on Devin,

"You!" I shouted at her, walking directly towards her. I grabbed her shirt in my hands, "Where is she?!"

Devin looked at me shocked and confused, "Where's who? What are you talking about?"

"Don't play dumb with me! Clara! Where the fuck is she?!" I shook her a bit as I spoke and she pushed me back, removing my hands from her shirt. She brushed her shirt down before looking at me,

"You need to calm down."

I pointed my finger at her, "No! Fuck you! Fuck you, Devin! Just tell me where she is!!"

"Oh, here's an idea! Maybe she came to her senses and left you!"

I saw red. I immediately lunged for her and slammed her into the wall directly behind us, punching her round the face repeatedly.
