Queen | What She Needed
Later That Day..

Erin made sure that tonight was gonna be a good night. The limos came and the thirty women arrived at the hotel. They all soon took their seats in the lobby that had a lot of couches and chairs for them, along with some small water bottles and snacks. Erin wasn't too big on speaking to large crowds but she remained calm, telling herself that everything was going to be fine. But just before she went to the podium a hand was placed on the middle of her back, she turned around to see Zayn.

"What the hell are you doing here?" She asked, confused why he is here at all.

"Well damn, I can't support my mother?" Zayn chuckled at her, finding it funny that he keeps her on her toes.

She sighed, feeling a bit bad, "I'm sorry, just a bit nervous."

"Don't be, you're doing the right thing. The group of women that are here needs this, and so does my mum," Zayn spoke sincerely.

"Aw, your mom's here?" She asked in admiration.

"Yes she is, she's over there," he says nodding to the woman who sat by a group of other women, purse in lap and looking so bright when she smiled.

"She looks so sweet," she smiles softly.

"Thank you, she really needs this, you know? She's been through a lot," he says looking at his mother.

"I'll be sure to take care of you Zayn," Erin says to him.

"Thank you," Zayn smiled before pecking her lips.

"Oh my god Zayn, you can't do that?!" She whispered yelled, cheeks on fire as she looked around to see if anybody saw that.

"Sorry not sorry," he grinned. "Bye Erin," Zayn waved then walked out of the hotel lobby.

Erin straightened herself out since her body was hot. She then went to the podium, getting everybody's attention on the microphone that was set up. Here's goes nothing, she thought.

"Hey ladies, I'm so glad you all can make it tonight. My name is Erin Irving and I'm your host for tonight. I hope you enjoy yourselves while your here because that is what this night is all about, and that is why Good For Women are sponsoring this event. So now, I'm going to let my assistances help you with your hotel rooms and they are going to break you into groups of five. Then we are all going to head to the gardens were my trainers are going to help me talk to each group, while you ladies get to mingle with each other. Sounds good?" Erin spoke to the crowd.

All the women nodded and some even applauded. Soon enough the women were guided to their hotels rooms. A whole entire floor was actually paid for this event to take place, along with the beautiful garden in the back. Erin hoped that these women had a good time.

Thirty minutes later Erin was talking to the first group of women. It was like they were having a group therapy session with one another. She let the women explain their stories to her and she listened, getting a chance to interact with them. The youngest age was eighteen and the oldest was about thirty-two. Erin went along with the other six groups and met so many people it was insane. After that, the women were going to have a chance to have a one-on-one session with Erin.

She had deep discussions with twenty-nine ladies so far. Erin was down to her last one of the night, which was Zayn's mother. And for some reason, she got very nervous.

"Relax darling, I don't bite," the woman spoke with a smile.

"I know," Erin chuckled nervously, she then read her name tag and learned that her name was Trisha Malik. "How do you like it so far?"

"It's great darling. I've meet new people and your trainers are so lovely. It feels so nice being here," Trisha says honestly.

"I'm glad you feel that way. So, have you learned anything from being here?" Erin asks lacing her fingers together.

Trisha smiled, "I have learned to love myself and the people who love me. I've was once in an abusive relationship years ago and I used to hate my life so much that I was close to ending it. But I have came so far that I'm not willing to give it up, because I know I have to be strong."

"I am really glad you feel that way Ms. Malik," Erin smiled.

"Please call me Trisha, I feel like I know you," she says waving her off with that formal talk.

Erin giggled, "Oh yeah? How so?"

"Well Zayn talk about you so much that it's crazy," Trisha laughs. "He thinks you're very beautiful Erin."

Erin blushed, "I didn't know he talked about me so much."

"I see you're married, no?" Trisha asked suddenly.

"I'm engaged," Erin said with a fake smile, wanting to roll her eyes to her response.

"Are you happy?" Trisha asks curiously, noticing that she didn't seem too excited about it. Reminding of herself when she was engaged.

"I am," she responded, trying not to go into detail with this conversation.

Trisha nodded, deciding not to push the subject any further, "Well I'm glad, you know? But just remember one thing; it's always a good thing to respect and love yourself. If you need anything then just tell Zayn so I'll come running."

Erin smiled widely, a real smile, "Thank you so much, and I will."

"You seem like a very nice lady Erin. I just want to wish you the very best," Trisha says sincerely.

"Same to you too mam," Erin smiled.

"Well, I must get going. The hotel rooms are pretty nice and I've met some nice ladies here too. See you tomorrow darling," she says standing up.

Erin stood up too and hugged the woman dearly. Trisha's words got her thinking long and hard about her life. Hopefully, things will change around here.
