(Not so proud of this chapter but it's cool)
Monday 4:45 pm
Just you and Grayson standing in front of his front door.
"So" I said awkwardly looking around his house.
He smiled and took your hand guiding you to the living room. You both sat on his dark gray couch.
"Do you remember when my family first moved here" he paused and smiled "we first got here and my mom forced me, Ethan, and Camron to make friends so we went across the street to your house."
I smiled thinking about our memories.
"Since the first day you moved here you and Ethan would torture me all the time playing pranks on me" I shook my head.
"Yeah I'm sorry about that" Gray laughed a little, "I wish we could have stayed close you know?"
The truth is I always wanted to stay friends with the twins but I was always to nervous to talk to them...maybe because they traumatized me by sneaking into my backyard and throwing eggs at me while I was in the pool when I was 7.
I noticed Gray starring at me.
"Stop starring at me like that weirdo" I said without thinking, he smirked "I'm sorry you just look so different then you did when we were kids" he paused and moved my hair from my face behind my ear.
"Good different?"
"Good different" he nodded
I looked into his beautiful big eyes trying not to get so lost in them. Gray opened his mouth about to say something else but was interrupted by Ethan walking through the door. "PIZZA" he yelled
Gray moved back away from me and got up, I thought about what could have happened.
Obviously he wouldn't have kissed me right, he doesn't even know me why would he...he knows me as that little girl that he would always pull pranks on. I got up and followed them into the kitchen and sat across from Ethan and Grayson at the table.
"Lena what happened to your dad?" Ethan said out of nowhere and my heart dropped.
"E shut up!" Grayson snapped at Ethan.
"No it's ok" I said and looked down.
"Lena you don't have to talk about it" Ethan said with an apologetic look on his face but I smiled reassuring him that it was ok.
"It was my fourth birthday and it was just me, my mom, and dad..I was sitting in front of the cake and I kept taking icing off and eating it." I paused thinking about what happened. "I went to take more icing off and accidentally pushed the cake on to the floor, obviously I had a mini tantrum so my dad calmed me down and told me that it was ok and that he would go out and get me a bigger and better cake...so he did" I felt a warm tear roll down my cheek and quickly wiped it away. "When he was out getting the cake he got in a car accident with a drunk driver and...yeah"
Ethan came around and sat next to me and put his arm around me "I'm sorry" he said.
"It was a long time ago" I shook my head, "but after that my mom indulged her self into work and since then we have had a bad relationship and she is never there for me."
"Lena, me and Ethan are here for you, whenever you need anything or need someone you can come to us" Gray said and gave me a little smile which always would make me feel better when I see his smile. Just then my phone rang..
"It's my mom she's home" I got up "thanks for the pizza guys" I smiled and Ethan held his hand up for a high five "see you in school" he said as I high fived him. Gray walked me to the door where and I picked up my school bag and through it over my shoulder. He opened the door "later" he smiled. I smiled back at him and left, as I reached my house I sighed "back to reality..."
