The newest of the Clans, NightClan is made mostly of former rogues and kittypets. Despite being relatively new (only being around for three years), these cats are the least inviting to rogues or kittypets as they are desperately trying to prove themselves to be a real clan. The other Clans treat them like a band of rogues, even though StarClan has accepted them (granting their leader nine lives at moonstone). This Clan was formerly known as Night Crawlers and lived in the alleyways of the city before taking up the vacant territory by DawnClan and SequoiaClan. It is mostly forest besides some farmland.

These Clans have the most diverse experiences, which makes the the wisest and most well-informed. Their camp is in a small cave system in the mountain range. The mountain range marks their northern border. Their eastern borders are separated by a dirt thunderpath (hiking trail), which they share with both SequoiaClan and DawnClan. At the southern end is a Thunderpath that marks their southern border. The western ends at  a small farm. During leafbare, they risk being caught by twoleg traps to hunt the farmer's poultry (chickens and ducks). They lose several warriors and apprentices every leafbare to the farmer's traps, and they are never seen again.

Their prey mostly includes chickens, ducks, squirrels, muskrats, marmots, cave bats, rats, mice, birds, and vary rarely rabbits and snakes. Their predators are: black bears, mountain lions, wolverines, coyotes, badgers, foxes, and snakes. Sometimes opposumes and raccoons that are attracted to the farmer's livestock and garbage.
