Aidan's POV

In the office, I got a lecture right away. Principal Carter looked me up as he made his way to his desk, "Now....Miss Campbell?" I nodded as he continued, "We've heard about the incident that got you kicked out of your old school back in London. Your father ga-" I felt a bolt of rage fill my veins, "He's not my father!" I hissed. He ignored my comment, "Gave us strict instructions to be disciplinary with you at all costs. You see, my fine institution doesn't need any more trouble maker. Especially, not one of your category." I rolled my eyes as this arse hat continued to talk. Anthony was behind all of this move. He even talked to this guy on how to "discipline" me. I'm so over this bloody school, and the whole incident back in London, I'm over it too. I was brought  out of my thoughts when I heard, "Are we clear Miss Campbell?" I wasn't sure what left this twonk's mouth, but I nodded in agreement. "Good," he said as he handed me a slip of paper, "Here's your schedule. Have a great first day." I took the paper and nodded with my signature smirk, "Smashing." I got up and headed to the door when I was stopped, "Oh Miss Campbell?" I looked back and he gave me a teasing smile, "We'll be watching you." I offered a cheeky smile, "Brilliant." With that, I left. I searched the halls for this bloody English class. I took a deep breath and walked into the class where I was greeted by an old hag. She was roughly the size of a hobbit and her limbs were irregularly long. I'm quite positive that if she wanted to she could use her hands to walk instead of her legs. Her hair was a bright green color which created an ombre effect. Bright green right at the scalp and as it went down her hair, it became less green, and the tips were grey. Her eyes were a mixture of blue and green but not a good mixture. She, like everyone else so far, looked me up and down, "Can I help you?" I shook my head to clear my thoughts and nodded, "Yeah, is this AP Literature?" She nodded and looked at her roll sheet, "You must be....Aidan Campbell!" I nodded, "That's me, and you must be," I mimicked her action and looked at my schedule, "Mrs.Bones?" She nodded and smiled at me, the smile would be best described as haunting, "Yes, now please take your seat. You can have a seat next to Ruby. Ruby, please raise your hand." I saw the hand come into the air and I followed it. On my way over there I met a pair of amazing green eyes, Lauren. I hadn't realized how green her eyes were, like to emeralds. I tried to ignore them and I saw her shift as well. I continued to the back of the class and I sat next to, presumably, Ruby. I plopped down next to her and she had her feet up on the desk. She was light skinned, had black short hair, and like me, she had tattoos covering her arms. She wore a plain black shirt, white shorts, and navy blue Superstar Adidas. She had a hat on her head and a silver necklace around her neck. She put her hand out to me, "Hey there mate." I put my hand in hers, "Sup, Name's Campbell. Aidan Campbell." We shook hands as she nodded, "Ruby Rose." We both let go as she continued the conversation, "So, Brit?" I nodded and chuckled, "So Aussie?" She nodded as we both chuckled. Mrs.Bones looked back, "Aidan, Ruby, can you quiet down?" We both nodded trying not to keep laughing. The old hag continued her class. "Does she always die her hair that colour?" I questioned Ruby. She laughed silently as she shook her head, "It's always a surprise. The old hag has nothing better to do." Now it was my turn to laugh, "Looks like it." We both laughed again and Ruby held her hand out, "Mates?" I nodded and shook her hand, "Mates."

Lauren's POV

"Mates," Aidan assured Ruby. I heard them talking about Mrs.Bones. I mean, she's not that bad.... Who am I kidding, she's the laughing stock of the whole school. Ruby and Aidan kept talking all period which was kind of distracting. I wanted to turn around and say hi to her, but after all the rumors about her this morning I couldn't. Especially not now that she's "mates" with Ruby Rose, the school troublemaker/druggie. Talking to Aidan at this point, it would ruin my reputation. The bell rang and I was snapped out of my thoughts by Ally. We walked to Pre-Calculus as Ally talked, "Wow, I didn't even know she could read." I looked at Ally, she was clearly talking about Aidan. "Well Ruby is in that class too," I added. Ally shrugged, "As far as we know, Ruby is failing the class. That's why we never see her grades." I nodded as we continued to walk to class and Ally continued, "Aidan Campbell might be just as bad, or even worse than Ruby and now they're friends. Let's hope all hell doesn't break loose." I nodded as we walked into our class, and there she was again, Aidan Campbell. Her deep blue-green eyes made me melt. Lauren stop it! You're not gay and you have a boyfriend! I hadn't noticed her eyes until now. Ally was at her seat with Dinah and Camila, and they were distracted and I started to build up the courage to go say hi when I realized Ruby was with her. Damn it! Maybe I can get her alone later. I nodded to myself and took my seat with the girls as class started.

After School

I waited all day long, but it seemed that Ruby never left Aidan's side and Vice Versa. The end of the day came along and I thought I'd maybe be able to catch her before she left. When I reached the lot, Aidan was pulling out with Ruby in her passenger seat. Fuck! I thought I could catch her! Just then, I felt a pair of strong arms wrap around me, "Hey there baby." I smiled, it was Luis. I turned to face him and then I kissed him. Again, that spark wasn't there. I couldn't feel it. He smiled a goofy smile at me, "Ready to go home?" I nodded as we went to his car and got in. We drove home in silence, all I could think about was Aidan Campbell.

Aidan's POV

Ruby and I drove back to my place listening to IAMSU. We were singing along to "The Feel", but that only lasted until we both started laughing at each other's singing. We sat in silence for a bit as we both regained seriousness. "So you and Lauren?" I choked on my spit, "What?" Ruby laughed, "Come on mate, I saw how you looked at her." I chuckled dryly, "That was nothing you twat." Ruby laughed again and I shook my head, "I met her at their Pier yesterday. Nothing more. she's straight and she has a boyfriend anyway." Ruby nodded, "Good point." I pulled up to my driveway and we both got out. Man...I have to get Lauren Jauregui out of my mind.
