Hello guys! UPDATE TIME! WOOO! I'm sorry I wasn't able to update sooner but I had a busier week than I had anticipated. It was fun...but busy. And too be honest, I'm proud that I actually upaded ON TIME (*gasp*) because number one: I'm just terrible at updating and number two: I'm on the worst period ever and it was 42 days late and it really stressed me out. D:
But thanks for all your support, although I was slightly disappointed by the amount of comments (compared to the votes) but that may just me be and my perfectionism.
Here it is! Please press that star button in the right-hand corner and leave a little comment below! It makes me feel better! Thanks guys! I love ya all!
Piper
Piper watched Frank smash his way out the shopping centre with a feeling of dread in her stomach.
She rushed to Percy, shoving aside broken wood and kicking bits of shattered glass away from where he lay.
Piper knelt down as best as she could and immediately felt the back of Percy’s head. As she suspected, there was a large gash which was leaking a lot of blood. She knew right away that Percy was going to have some serious concussion.
Percy groaned as she forced him to sit up, propping him against the remains of a table.
“Anna…Ann…” Percy muttered.
“Not Annabeth.” Piper said gently while digging in her pockets, looking for ambrosia. “It’s Piper.”
Percy started to groan again, but was interrupted by the wailing of sirens in the distance.
Piper knew she couldn’t leave Percy, but she also knew that the Greek police would be in here in a few minutes.
And Frank…he could be in trouble. And as much as Piper hated to admit it, he probably didn’t have the experience to defeat the other shape-shifter. And get Pandora’s jar at the same time.
Piper’s head was filled with wailing sirens and red flashing lights. Hadn’t the old man-Periclymenus-told them that Gaia and her forces knew where they were?
The realization made Piper’s legs feel like jelly. If that was possible…and if Gaia thought they had got the jar…then…
Then we’re most likely going to be attacked. Piper thought, fear closing up her throat.
She swallowed the fear and closed her eyes, trying to form a coherent thought. Maybe if she could find some ambrosia for Percy…and then somehow manage to get him to at least walk…then perhaps they would be able to evade the police and any monsters that may be stalking them. And if Percy and Piper were lucky, they would be able to find Frank and somehow get the jar without harming Periclymenus.
Yep. Piper thought sarcastically. Pretty damn easy.
She opened her eyes as she felt a crushed packet of…something…in her pockets, and felt a rush of relief when she opened it, revealing some bashed up ambrosia.
She fed it to Percy gently but quickly, knowing that they didn’t have a lot of time.
“C’mon, Percy.” Piper muttered and lightly slapped the son of Poseidon’s face.
“Urgghhh…” Percy groaned and opened his eyes. He stretched and then winced. “What…?” He blinked and sat up as best as he could, looking around at the wreckage around them. “Where’s Frank?”
