Hii guys XD So, finally an update. I feel so bad. DX

But, look! This is the 30th chapter! I can't believe you people have stuck with me so long, esecially since my updates are normally slow and often short.

But here it is, and this chapter is dedicated to my 300th follower! I love youuuuuu!!!!!!!

Here it is!

Nico

Nico jolted upright, breathing heavily, still in shock from the dreams. His head pounded as he recalled what he had seen-and heard.

He opened his eyes to see the hotel room in complete darkness. It was only a small room, but that only seemed to make the darkness more complete.

Shafts of moonlight streamed through the sliding door which led to a tiny balcony, the light only making the shadows seem more sinister.

Nico could see Reyna curled up on the other side of the room, her breathing deep and even, whilst Coach Hedge snorted and grunted in the corner of the room, pretty much taking away any chances of sleep that Nico had.

Nico collapsed back onto his mattress, sighing and wishing for a deep, dreamless and long sleep for once. However, his brain was on full activity mode. Question bombarded his thoughts, bouncing around in his skull.

What was Ouranos talking about? And, most importantly, why did he talk to Nico, of all demigods?

Other, more personal things popped into his head-like, Percy Jackson for example.

Nico was scared. He would never admit it to anyone, but he was scared and confused to what was happening. Just…just thinking about it made him feel sick and sweaty.

He wiped his palms on the mattress and closed his eyes, pushing away the nausea swelling in his stomach.

What about if someone found out? He thought. And then suddenly everyone knew? He gripped the edge of the mattress. What if everyone knew?

He was already an outcast. He was the son of the Underworld, for Hades’ sake! He was used to being ignored and being treated like dirt, but if they knew…Nico wouldn’t face it. He couldn’t.

Nico had thought about what would be considered… unsettling to people before. He had thought about death a lot-but that was normal for a son of Hades, right?

But after Tartarus, thoughts like that had become more frequent, and he found himself wondering whether he would go to Elysium just because he was Hades’ son.

A bitter taste sprung up in Nico’s mouth and he pushed the thoughts away, trying to drift into unconsciousness, but failing.

So, instead he waited for sunrise.

“Coach.” Nico shook his furry leg. “Time to wake up.”

The satyr grunted and muttered a sleepy, “Die…”

Reyna stumbled out of her bed, looking grouchy. Her black hair looked like a rat’s nest and she generally looked filthy.

The three took turns to get ready and clean themselves up in the bathroom. Getting showered and dressed while Athena glared at you was intimidating to say the least.
