The Accident

Maxon

I slowly back away from the bed and push Killian towards the door. Once we exit the room a hear someone running I slam the door shut and someone runs into the door. I Killian looks at me and I take his hand and we run downstairs I grabbed my purse and I pull him to the car. We get in and I locked the doors just as I see Maxon with something around his neck run out of our house. I quickly drive away with Maxon running behind the car. We drive for half a hour and then I pull into the hotel my parents and my sister is staying in. I parked the car and Killian gets out and then helps me out. We run to my parents room and I knock on their door. I hear Maxon asking were I went and then somebody say I can't tell you that sir. Maxon runs up the stairs and I locked eyes with him just as Killian pulls me into my parents hotel. He had to pick the lock because they were answering fast enough. Killian locks the door and my parents come running into the hallway. They look really surprised. I run up to my dad and hug him tightly. We go into the living room and Killian holds me I a hard hug whial he calls the police. We hear them take Maxon and then they nock on the door. Mom goes and answers it whial Killian tell dad what happened.

My sister walks in the hour two hours later and says good but to her friend and then her and Aaron walk in. They walk into the living room and when they see me and Killian they looked really surprised. "Emma? Killian? Why are you still in you pijamas and we're is all of your stuff." Asks Aaron and I just hide my face in Killian's chest, when I did that it made me feel safe. "Well it's complicated Aaron" says Killian and Aaron understands that we should talk about it around me. Mom's phone rings and she answered it. After a few minutes she says "Emma it's for you. It's Neal" I sit up and look at Killian. I stand up and take her phone and walk into the kitchen were my sister was sitting reading the Hunger games Mockingjay.

Emma: "Neal?"

Neal: "Emma are you okay"

Emma: "Yes" I say In a shaky voice

Neal: "Emma?"

Emma: "Neal he came to our house and tried to kill me and Killian" I hung up quickly and walked into the living room and sat on the rocking chair separated from everyone else.

I look down at my ring that Neal gave to me and start fiddling with it. I feel everyone looking at me but I ignore them. I hear my dad whispering with Killian and that's when I snapped. I stand up and the chair goes flying behind me. They all stared at me with pity in their eyes.

"Stop feeling bad for me!" I yell.

Millya looks at me and I just walk by her out of the hotel room. I sit on a bench outside of the hotel and Milley comes and sits next to me.

"Oh Emma!" I look at her and shrugged

"I'm not scared of that jerk. He has messed with me too many times." I tell her

"Emma. We should go back inside it's really dangerous out here" she says

"No Milley im the older sister I can make my own decisions and one of them is to stay away from my family until the stop pitying me." I stand up and walk to the hotel room.

I walked in and Killian is sitting on the rocking chair with his hands on his face. When he hears someone walk in his head shoots up and his face is red from crying. I grabbed my purse and walk back out. I go to the car and just sit there for a few minutes thinking about were I could go and dicided to go and stay with Neal for a while. I start the car just as Killian is stepping out of the hotel. He looks at me and tries to yell something but I can't hear him. I drive away and drive all the way to Neal's house. I pull out the spare key that I still haven't given back and opened the door. I walked in and close the door and Neal runs down looking afraid. When he sees me he says "Emma! What are you doing here?" I smiled at him and then walk into the kitchen to get some water. His phone rings and he answers it.
