The Accident

Happy birthday

Today is Eva and Maríe's 6 birthday.

I walk in the house from work and little Maríe comes running to me. I lift her up and hug her. I slip off my shoes with Maríe still in my arms. I walk into the kitchen and smell someone making dinner. I walk in and see Killian making dinner but I don't see Eva anywhere.

I set Maríe down and walk to their rooms and hear someone in the wash room. I walk in and see Eva getting sick. I run up to her and she starts to cry. I feel her for head and she has a fever. When she's finished getting sick I clean her up and give her a bath.

I out on her pijamas and then lifts her up. She holds onto me tightly. I walk out of me and Killian's room and walk to the kitchen were Killian is drawing with Maríe. I sit down and put Eva on my lap. I sigh and look down at Maríe's drawing and then the door bell rings.

I get up and walk Eva to the living room and lay her on couch. I tuck her in and then run to the door. I hear Killian tell Maríe to go and stay with her sister.

I open the door and see Ilisa standing there with tears streaming down her face. I sigh and pull her in my arms. She crys a little and then I see her boyfriends car pull up.

"Lisa!!" He yells and she turns to him.

"Emma can we go inside please?" She asks as Sam runs up to us.

Ilisa is know nineteen. Sam pulls out something from his pocket and hands it awkwardly to me. I open the small box and see a engagement ring. I look at Ilisa.

"Hey Lisa I'm not going to break up with you. I want to announce our love. We can wait a few years but I just...." He tries to finish but Ilisa jumps in.

"Yes! Yes Sam I will marry you!!" She says and then runs into his arms I give Sam the ring and turn around and Killian is right there.

I walk into him a little but he covers it up by pulling me into his arms.

"You okay Jones?" He asks

"Ya I'm... I'm fine." I say and then pull out of his arms.

I wave good bye to Ilisa and Sam and then walk into the living room and see Maríe reading Eva a story. I smile and feel Eva's head and looks like her fever is going down. I pull my hand away and see that she is asleep. Maríe runs into my arms and I lift her up.

"You are such a good little sister." I say to her.

"You are a good Mommy, Mommy." she says to me.

I smile at her and then kiss her cheek. My phone then rings. I set Maríe down and run to me and Killian's room to answer it.

Emma: "Hello?"

Snow: "Emma I got you're text. What's wrong."

Emma: "Mom can we come over for ummm... tea?" I ask her

Snow: "Ya sure. Why?"

Emma: "I really need to talk to you about something." I say to her.

I hear Maríe running up the stairs and someone following her. I'm guessing it's Killian. I hear to door open and I see Maríe run in with Killian close behind her with a smiling healthy looking Eva in his arms. I look at the through my eyelashes.

Snow: "Okay darling. See you in a few hours. Love you."

Emma: "I love you too mom. See you soon." I say and then hang up.

I smile at Maríe who is sitting on the bed watching me with a curious face.

"How about we go to Grandma and Grandpa's house and see auntie and uncle?" I say and both Eva and Maríe scream yes.
