Emma's pov: I feel so bad for Maríe yet I'm so happy she decided to come out of her shell. It's been two weeks and she seems really happy, she has been texting and talking on the phone with someone for the past two weeks.
She runs downstairs screaming for me.
"Mom! Mom! Mom!" She yells.
I turn around and see her holding her phone out to me.
"What Maríe?" I ask.
"He wants to go on a date with me mom!" She yells and throws her arms around me.
"It's only been been a few weeks." I say.
"Not really a date more to hang out." She says still excitedly.
"Okay..." I say.
"Can you help me get ready?" She asks pulling away from me.
"Yes, yes I can." I say excitedly and follow her upstairs.
Maríe's pov: Mom follows me upstairs and she helps me get ready.

By the end I look like this but I decide not to wear my sunglasses. I walk downstairs and slip my phone into my pocket. I pick up my car keys and drive to granny's. I get out and lock my car. I see Kyle sitting outside of Granny's. I walk over and sit down next to him.
"Hey Mar." He says his smile growing bigger when he sees me wearing my neclase.
"Hey." I say blushing a little.
"I was hoping we could just spend the whole day together. Maybe go on a walk and have a picnic, go horseback back riding. How does that sound?" He asks me.
"Sounds great." I say.
He stands up and helps me up. I stand up and we start walking to our first destination.
"So, Mar tell me about yourself, I know there is more to you than you have told me. At least Jake makes it seem that way." He says.
I sigh. "Well..." I start.
He takes my hand in his a links our fingers. I smile up at him.
"You don't need to tell me you know." He says.
"I know but I want to tell you." I say focusing on keeping my heart beat down.
"Okay I just don't want to push you." He says squeezing my hand.
"Okay well when I was six I was taken away, Jake found me eight years later, when I was fourteen." I say leaning closer to him. He puts his arm around my waist his hand taking my other hand.
I link my fingers with that hand and lean my head on his shoulder.
"That's why I was so unopen. I thought that they didn't need me and that I was ruining everyone's life but I learned that I was wrong." I say smiling up at him.
We walk the rest of they way him making jokes and making my laugh the whole way to the waterfall. We sit down on the grass and I lean closer to him while we just watch the water fall in silence.
Emma's pov: I got a call from Killian.
Emma: "Hey what's up?" I say.
Killian: "Emma? How's Maríe?"
Emma: "Good she went out with that boy she's been talking to alot... Kyle. Why?"
Killian: "Just... I need to go." He hangs up.
I look down at my phone and start panicking. I get dressed and get Liam in the car along with Eva and Abbigail. We drive to Killian's work and pull up. I take the kids in with me. We walk to the front desk.
"Hi I'm here to see Killian Jones." I say to the lady at the front desk.
"Sorry he just left a few minutes ago." She says not even looking up at me.
Maríe's pov: I stand up.
"I'm going to get some water, I will be right back." I say to Kyle.
I walk away and see my dad's car pulled over next to a ditch. My brows furrow. I walk over to the car and I don't see him but I hear someone running in the forest. My take out my phone and call Kyle as I follow the noise.
Mar: "Kyle I'm sorry but something went wrong and I need to be home I'm sorry." I say as I chase after the noise.
I hang up before he car answer and call my mom.
Emma's pov: We make our way to the car as my phone rings it's Maríe.
Emma: "Maríe what's wrong?"
Maríe: "Its dad."
Emma: "What about him?"
Maríe: "His car was pulled up next to the ditch across from the Walmart and I hear him running in the forest. I don't know what he's doing but I'm following him."
Emma: "Well will be there soon I will call you back."
I hang up and rush the kids into the car and drive quickly into the direction on the ditch across from Walmart.
A car drives quickly at us and hit us straight on we fly backwards and everything goes black.
Maríe's pov: Mom hangs up and I chase after my dad. I hear two people yelling and then I hear someone groan. I run up and see Neal on the ground dad standing above him.
My breath catches and my heart starts racing and my head start to spin.
"Dad, Neal!!" I yell.
"MARÍE-BELLE!" Yells my dad and Neal at the same time.
"Stop." I say.
I call 911 and they show up a few minutes after and take Neal away. Dad walks up to me and hugs me, I hug him back. We get into his car and I start getting worried because mom hasn't shown up yet. We drive down the road and hear sirens and see fire trucks and see police and ambulance. Then we see the accident.
The car is totald and there is blood everywhere. We pull over and I get out of the car and run over. The first thing I see is Liam...
I scream his name and he looks up at me but doesn't move. I run over to him and he has blood everywhere and he has a bone sticking out of his leg but that all. I lift him up and he bawls in my arms. People run over to the car and start to cut it open. I focus on Liam not looking to see what happened to the rest of my family.
They take Liam away after a few minutes and that's when I see people surrounding Eva. One of those people are is dad. He's down on one knee, I run over and see them trying to get her to breath again.
"Eva!" I yell and fall to there ground.
Dad wraps his arms around me and I cry for a while and then I realize, mom and Abbi.
