The Accident

Me again!

I wake up and my mom is talking with Lana and Regina. They walk out after a while of me just acting like I'm asleep. I see crutches next to my bed. I feel my hip and know they replaced it. I sit up and swing my legs over the edge of the bed and stand up.

Fear builds in my stomach but I ignore it. I decide to try and walk with out crutches and it seems easier than before. I walk to the bathroom and take a shower and get changed into the clothes that someone brought for me.

I get changed into a light pink skater skirt and a black blouse. Then I put on some black converse. I curl my hair and then put it into a ponytail. I then do my makeup with the stuff that I have here. My mom must be staying here or she brought me some stuff. I finish getting ready and I snapped on my cross neclase and then I'm ready.

I carefully walk out of the room with my phone in my hand. I walk out and here some kids giggling I smile to myself. I hear my dad's accent. He seems to be playing with Abbigail. I lean on the door frame and watch them for a while. My dad trys to talk like a girl but it brings out his accent. I try and hold in my giggles but it just makes me snort.

I slip away before they can see me. I quickly make my way out of the hallway just as my dad gets out of the room to see who was there.

I hear foot steps. I walk my hair swaying with each step. I look and see the waiting room. I see my mom sitting down with a book. I slip into a dark corner just as my dad walks into the waiting room.

"Em were you spying on my and Abbi?" He asks my mom.

"No why?" She asks.

"Well someone was... I was just curious... I'm going to go check up on my little Maríe." He says and walks away.

My mom gets up and follows closely behind him. I carefully follow behind them and when they get to the room my mom screams.

"Killian were is she!?" She yells.

"I don't know Love." He trys to keep his calm but I hear the fear in his voice.

"Killian she can't be missing again! We just found her! I can't go on without her!" Says my mom.

"I know Em." He says and pulls her into his arms.

"Mar!?" Yells Jake from down the hall.

My mom and dad turn around quickly to see me. I look down at my feet.

"Am I the only one seeing her?" Asks Jake.

"This is not the Mar you're looking for!" I yell and then giggle.

My mom and dad just stared at me. My mom smiles.

"Note to self don't play Star Wars often or there will be more of these references. " Says my mom and then giggles.

"That's not fair." I say In a whiney voice.

I smile. My dad turns to my mom and smirks. I role my eyes and pull out my phone. I have text from Emila. Why from Emila?

Maríe: Hey Emi! Why did you text me?

Emila: Mar? You're awake! I was just texting you because I was imagining that you were talking to me.😂 I know crazy.

Maríe: Do you want to come and see me?

Emila: Really?!

Maríe: Ya I want to see you!😊

Emila: Okay Mar and when I'm there you can tell me about this Jake😀💏

Maríe: Oh my god! I wish I knew!😂 He is so confusing!😩😊 see you soon😁
