S01, Ep08

Maine's alarm went off at around 5:30am but she's been awake for about 15 minutes already. She was just lying on her bed and thinking about stuff that's on her mind. Work, Rj, work, Leanne, work, beach, coffee and a lot more. But it was mostly about today's shenanigan. She's going to be alone with Rj inside the car for more than an hour. This is the longest that they'll be alone together ever since the "break-up" and Maine is a bit anxious about it.

She was contemplating on whether or not she was going to fix coffee for herself or just wait for Rj to arrive since he mentioned last night that he was going to bring coffee. Speaking of Rj, she should probably check on him and make sure that he's already awake. So she got up from bed and took her phone and saw that there was a text from Rj.

From: R.F.J | 5:00am

Rise and shine, beautiful! :) Can't wait to see you!

She was surprised. (C/N: Or as Millenials say... SHOOKTD hehe) 

During their time together, she could count in just one hand all the times that he was able to wake up early and actually show up on time. So, improving na siya about time ah, she thought. 

She was about to reply when her phone beeped. Another text from Rj. 

"Wow, ginagalingan ang pagpapa-good shot today?"  she said.

Are you up yet? Nakatulog ako ulit pero gising na ako ulit tapos maya maya maliligo na ako. Ikaw ba? Good morning! :)

She smiled, unconsciously. This is one of the many things that she misses. Good morning messages from Rj. It's just nice to start your day with a smile that's because of the person that you love. 

She decided to just reply after she's taken a bath and prepared. She needs to stay focused and not get drawn to all the sweetness that Rj has for her this morning.

She took a bath and carefully decided on what she should wear for the day. She wants to look nice, of course.

"Eh bat ba concerned na concerned ka sa isusuot mo?  Si Rj lang naman kasama mo tapos pupunta lang naman kayo kay Mama. Makapamili ng dress, wagas lang Maine?", she told herself.

She just wanted to wear something comfy so she decided to just wear leggings and a white v-neck shirt with her navy blue flats. And then she put her hair up in a bun and put on a little bit of make up just to look presentable.

She looked at herself in the mirror. "Okay na yan!".

She took her phone and texted Rj.

To: R.F.J | 7:25am

Good morning! I'm all set, ikaw na lang ang kulang. Ingat on your way here.

From: R.F.J | 7:28am

Ako na lang ba kulang? Hehe. I'm on my way na. 10-15 mins. Gusto mo bang bumili na ako ng breakfast or okay na kahit coffee na muna?

To:R.F.J | 7:32am

I mean, antay na lang kita na sunduin ako. Mamaya na lang, okay na ako sa coffee. Di na ako nagtimpla kanina since sabi mo naman kagabi dadalhan mo ako. Maya na lang tayo magbreakfast. Sige na, wag ka na magtext. Nagddrive ka e! Ingat!
