For some weird reason, Maine was looking forward to today. She woke up feeling amazing, not sure why. She connected her laptop to her bluetooth speaker and blasted some Beyonce to pump up her morning because what good way to start your day than with the Queen Bey, right?

She was dancing along to the song and just doing her usual morning routine. Except this time, there was a certain jump in every step she took. And she also wonders where this sudden energy bubble is from but she's not complaining. Don't get her wrong, every day is something to look forward to but today just feels extra for her.

She was done preparing and is ready to start her day in the office and she was still dancing along to the Queen Bey but this time, the music was playing inside her head only.

She opened her door and was on her way out when she saw Rj standing right outside. She had to stop dancing and had to take a good look at the person in front of her who was grinning at her.

"Good morning. It seems like you're having a good start to your morning." Rj told her with a smile. "Coffee?"

"Good morning." Then she took the cup from him. "Uhm, may naiwan ka ba sakin nung weekend or what? Ba't ka nandito?" She started walking to the elevator, Rj stayed by her side and was matching her walk.

"Wala po. Just delivering your coffee. Kanina pa ako sa labas ng unit mo nga e." He let her in the elevator first.

"Ha? Ba't di ka kumatok or tumawag?" Then she took her phone from her bag and sees 3 missed calls and 5 text messages from him. "Ay. Sorry. Naka-silent kasi eh hehe. Eh ba't di ka kumatok?"

"Okay lang. Wala lang, naririnig ko kasi yung music from inside, so walang use kung kakatok ako kasi di mo naman ako maririnig na kumakatok." He told her.

"Maski na, pano kung maririnig ko pala?" Rj just looked at her and smiled but he did not respond. She just takes a sip from her coffee cup courtesy of Rj.

They both fell silent and no one spoke til they reached the building lobby.

"Ang cute mo nga kanina eh. Wala nang music pero sumasayaw ka pa din. Ano bang meron?" Rj asked her as they exited the building. He smiled at Kuya Guard and so did Maine.

"Wala. Pag gising ko, I just felt good about today. San kotse mo? Sige na, magcommute lang ako. Thanks sa pa-kape and ingat!" Then she walked away from Rj but he caught up with her.

"Hatid na kita. Wait mo ko dito, kukunin ko kotse ko." He said and then he went to where his car was, not giving Maine a chance to decline his offer. She wasn't really thinking of declining his offer to drive her to work and for some reason, she was expecting him to drive her to work. Siraulo ka na talaga. What ever happened to talking to him once ready ka na? she asked herself.
