"Shit.." Seth mumbled and looked down at me.

He gave me a sympathetic smirk

"I'm sorry baby." He raised himself off of me and we began to dress quickly and quietly.

We exit the suite and he wraps his arms around me.

"Hey no matter what I'm with you okay." I bring my gaze to him and place my mouth on his.

"Thank you so much for this. It means a lot too me."

We get in my SUV. Seth holds my door open as I climb into the passengers seat. He makes his way around and starts the car.

I don't know how we didn't get pulled over and I don't necessarily remember arriving and finding a parking spot.

All I feel is a warm hand squeeze my inner left thigh.

"It's time." Seth whispers and jumps out of the car to come around.

It's weird how in slow motion everything felt.

It felt too long to reach the hospital and coming up to my boys seemed to take forever to arrive.

Lawrence has his arm around Zachary.

Zachary's head is lowered.

He seems defeated.

"What's happening? How is she?" I look to everyone with pleading eyes.

The doctor shifts his gaze and is about to speak.

Zachary lifts his head.

"I'll tell her thanks doc."

Zachary, Lawrence, Seth and I make our way to a secluded small waiting room not far from Leslie's room.

"The most they give her is until tomorrow. I have to go make a few calls we'll catch up in a bit."

I stand there paralyzed a dumbstruck look on my face. I begin to turn to face Seth. My head is pounding and I feel the floor start to slip from under me.

My legs turn to mush and I feel myself collapsing and I can see Seths' look of concern and quick reflexes of his arms making his way around me.

"Baby you okay?" He lifts me in his arms and walks with me to the set of chairs.

"She was supposed to have more time." I whisper shakily.

"Sometimes it just doesn't work that way." He pushes the hair from my face.

"I'm sorry Seth I don't why you stick around. This is everyday life for me. I don't know if my heart can handle this again."

"Who was before Leslie?" He is pushing for answers. He's doing so gently but still pushing.

"Not today please." I meet his gaze.

"Of course." His eyes are different.

Did the of course mean he knew I wouldn't want to talk about it yet? Or was it from understanding the current situation meant it wasn't time to rehash the past?

He was about to say something when everybody walked in.

Nathan came to me and my second nature kicked in.

We embraced.

Glances were thrown all around us.

"What are they saying?" Nathan rubbed my arm.

Everyone was paying attention to what I was about to say.

"They give her until tomorrow." I gave him an apologetic smirk.
