The company of Thorin Oakenshield raced through the rocky terrain, dodging behind rocks and boulders when a warg scout was seen not far off. In the distance, they could see Radagast and his Rabbit sled crossing over hills with the whole pack on his tail, and yet they still had yet to catch up with him. They all hid behind another boulder, Kili and Fili beside each other, and Elvira on the other side of Fili with Bilbo pressed tightly against her shoulder.
"Stay together," Gandalf whispered.

"Let's move!" Thorin whispered demandingly. The company began to run again, Bilbo in front of Elvira, Elvira in front of Fili, and Fili in front of Kili, making up the last four in the single file line of running dwarves. Thorin stopped once again behind a rock to avoid being seen, and everyone stops as well, but Ori, who was scared beyond his wits, kept running straight forward into the line of warg sight.

"Ori no!" Thorin whisper-shouted as he grabbed the back of Ori's pack and dragged him back to the rest of them before he was seen.

"Come on, quick!" Gandalf once again stated. They began to run again, Gandalf this time making sure the entire company ran in front of him, and Thorin stopped with him to ask menacingly, "Where are you leading us?"

Gandalf, without answering, but with a weary look, continued to run, and Thorin, looking annoyed, ran behind him. The company, all pressed against a giant boulder, failed to notice the warg scout standing on top of said rock until it was almost too late. The warg sniffed the air while the orc rider searched the plains, and Thorin, who noticed it standing above them, nodded once to Kili, who at once set a determined look upon his face as he notched an arrow and breathed before stepping from the rock, turning, and all at once, shooting the warg. The warg fell of the rock and landed near the dwarves who at once began to kill it where it lied. It let out a great howl, and the orc rider stood up, ready for a fight but the young female Ranger was already prepared. She swung her sword out towards the orc who blocked it once, both blades clashing in the air and the orc smiled a nasty smile, thinking it had won. Elvira pulled a hidden knife out of her corset and stuck the orc in the chest, before swinging her sword back down and slicing its throat, killing it instantly. The warg, which was already dead, made a fair amount of noise while dying which attracted the rest of the orc pack, and Radagast's distraction was all at once forgotten.

The warg scouts howled and began to pursue the company instead.

"Move. Run!" Gandalf yelled. They no longer had the element of silence on their side, as they had been found. They run, each one tired and out of breath, when they entered a clearing and take notice that they were surrounded on all sides.

"There's more coming!" Kili yelled, and made sure Elvira was next to him. He knew the woman could do more than handle herself, however he still felt a basic need to make sure she was safe, and he wasn't sure why.

"Kili, shoot them!" Thorin shouted, and Kili began trying to shoot as many as he could. Elvira knew one archer was not enough, so she sheathed her sword again and pulled out what looked to be another blade, but when she flicked it outwards, it extended to be a full length bow. She immediately began to notch and shoot, making a kill shot with every arrow she let fly. Orcs were now on the ground coming towards them, and Elvira was spinning and dodging each one before turning and shooting, and ultimately killing. Neither archer realized that they were the only two left in the clearing until they had a break in attacks and turned around, only to meet the eyes of each other, wondering where the rest of the company went.

"Kili! Elvira! Run!" Thorin's voice boomed across the clearing, and they both turned to see a hidden passage in a rock that the rest seemed to have escaped through. They both looked at each other again, before beginning to run through the plain to the rock. Each one having to turn at different times and shoot an oncoming enemy, before returning to the rock.
