This was really starting to piss Brendon off. Sure, Ryan was right, his teacher is really really hot. Yet, he looked really familiar. Way too familiar actually.
Why does he look like someone...he looks like someone.
Oh. Oh fuck. Fuck no.
His teacher couldn't be who Brendon thought he was. He just couldn't. That wasn't right. It had to be impossible, but when he got a longer look, Bren realized that Mr. Weekes is who I thought.
That's the fucking guy from the club the other night.
Mr. Weekes wasn't looking at the class, thank God. He was paying more attention to the notebook in his hands. Brendon is sure Dallon wouldn't remember who he was. Hopefully.
For every student he called, he stared at them intently for at least 3 seconds. Almost as if he was scanning them and he could tell who would be a student that actually cared and who would be a student that couldn't give 2 shits.
"Brendon Urie?" Mr. Weekes called out. Brendon almost didn't want to answer. "Is Brendon here?" he asked again.
Brendon really didn't want to answer.
"Dude what are you doing? Just say here." Sarah nudged at him.
"H-here...sir." Brendon faintly said. Please don't recognize me. Please don't recognize me. Brendon looked up to see if Mr. Weekes had known who he was.
Dallon stood there staring at Brendon for about 5 seconds, same bored expression on his face. Maybe he didn't notice. Dallon cleared his throat, "U-uhm...Sarah O-orzechowski." and stuttered out Sarah's name.
That was weird.
He finished attendance, looking extremely uncomfortable while doing so.
The rest of the lesson went on pretty slow. Dallon mainly told the class about himself and why he chose this job and a bunch of nonsense like that.
"Are you okay? You completely froze up earlier..what happened?" Sarah whispered to Brendon. Though Brendon loves Sarah, she doesn't know about his weekly hook ups. Sarah would probably murder him if she found out. She worries about his well being.
"Nothing..I just kind of spaced out." He mumbled. Sarah can usually tell when he's lying, but she couldn't tell this time, thank god. "Oh, okay." She said with a smile.
Brendon couldn't wait to tell Ryan about this. But speaking of Ryan, he wasn't in class today. Which is odd because he was also pretty excited about meeting his new hot teacher. Though usually when Ryan skips, he's out doing some illegal shit, so Brendon just shrugged it off.
After what felt like forever, the dismissal bell rang.
But before Brendon could run out of the room, he was called back by the teacher, "Brendon, could you come here for a second?" Why the fuck did I choose the seat farthest from the door? He mentally scolded himself while walking back to Dallon's desk.
He waited until everyone left the room, so it was just him and Brendon awkwardly staring at each other. "U-uhm I noticed that your grades in this class are kind of tanking when I checked the class roster. I wanted to give you some options on how to improve them so you could at least pass."
"How come you only wanted to talk to me about this? There's plenty of other students in this class that have shit grades too..." Brendon thought this was weird.
"Brendon you haven't turned in a single assignment for this class. At least the other kids that are failing put in an effort to turn something in, like once a month. According to your grades, you didn't even turn in the "about me" worksheet your previous teacher assigned to you at the beginning of the school year. Dude that's one of the easiest things you could have done." and he was right, they were pretty easy questions. Brendon just didn't know why he had to tell a teacher he'd only know for a year about himself. The whole thing sounded kind of creepy to him.
