After the events of Marvel vs DC, and the discovery of new portals that enter unknown reaches. IronMan decides to investigate, feeling that he would not want an event like last time to happen again... What he finds is strange. He finds himself! But...
Batman89sPOV "City's on fire." I said to my counterpart. "Who'd you suppose did that?" He asked. "I have an idea." "But mines dead." I said. "Mine isn't." My other self then glided off to the city below. I followed him. "You don't suppose our dead self has one too?" He said to me while taking out some binoculars. "I hope not." I said. "Might as well find out." I said, I then glided down to the streets. "I'll scout out above." My counterpart stayed in the rooftops above me. I began to look for any signs of funny activity. I sure as hell got some. I saw a helicopter which had opened one of its hatches to reveal a clown,but not mine:

I quickly dodged the gun fire and headed behind a brick wall of a building. "You definitely are not my Batman." I looked behind me and saw another clown:

"I see you're hiding from my friend!" "He's not gonna kill you!" He laughed maniacally. "He's just gonna hurt you!" I socked him in the face. He stumbled and laughed. "You sure do punch like a Batman!" He laughed again. "Maybe you would recognize my other friend!" "Look behind ya!" He pointed. I did exactly as he said. I didn't expect to see a ghost however:

He fired his gun at me and I dodged it. My counterpart then glided and kicked him right in the head. "There's mine!" The Joker with the scars said excitedly. I helped my counterpart fight off both. "Thought you said yours was dead!" My other self said while fighting. "Maybe I lied." I said. I saw the helicopter again. "We better grapple out of here!" I said. "Way ahead of ya!" We both then grappled before the helicopter could fire at us. "We are gonna need a lot more help to deal with this circus." My counterpart said out of breath. "I think we might get it." I pointed to a portal in the sky. Just then, what appeared to be two women, had exited the portal. Whatever they were flying in was invisible, I noticed this because they were crashing into the helicopter! Both my counterpart and I went to investigate......... Looks like our two Batmen have their hands tied at the moment. We'll see if they resolve the situation they're in! Till next chapter! Sphinx 98
