Sarabeth stood behind me and put a hand on my back, giving me a rub and a pat. Was she comforting me?
"Aw Rebecca, don't cry. It isn't that bad." She consoled.
"What isn't bad? Being forced into marrying a psychotic evil dummy? Being stuck here for the rest of my life? Having my friends rot in a cell and I can't do a thing to help them?!" I sneered, lifting my head up to look at her. My face was red and swollen from sobbing.
Sarabeth gave me a sad smile and took her hand off of my back. She didn't say anything else to me then, she just grabbed a brush and some hair spray and got to work. I watched as she braided my hair and put the braids into a twisted up-do, it looked cool I'll admit, but not for this occasion.....
Next, Sarabeth did my makeup. Black eyeshadow with an intense cat eye, black eye liner, a rusty red color for blush, and finally dark red lipstick. I'd never looked more gothic in my life....
"Only one more thing to do." Sarabeth instructed, going over to a closet door.
From inside she pulled a black dress with red spider web like designs all along the bottom half of it. Along the red spider webs were tiny black jewels in spots. There were black heels to match, and a black choker with a blood red stone hanging from it. I sighed heavily and put all of it on. As Sarabeth clasped the choker around my neck, there was a knock at the door. Mr. Mortman entered the room.
"5 minutes." He informed.
"We'll be ready, thanks Mr. Mortman." Sarabeth nodded.
I stared at myself in the mirror, I looked like a whole different person. Maybe that was a good thing for this situation. I didn't look like myself when I was being forced to marry someone that I didn't want to marry. It would be like somebody else was marrying Slappy, but we were just feeling the same pain. Exhaling, I looked out the window of the dressing room then, hoping for a miracle.....
Meanwhile, back in the jail at the mansion, my friends were slumped against the wall in their cell. They had been quiet for a very long time when Ryan finally spoke up.
"We have to still do something!" He whispered.
"Like what? Rebecca was just dragged off to the chapel, there's nothing we can do." Kyle answered in the same hushed tone. They were whispering because Ray sat awake by the door and they didn't want him to overhear the conversation.
"We can try to stop the wedding." Ryan formulated.
"Oh yeah? How?" Kyle interrogated.
"We go with the same plan that we had before. Jen, do still feel up to it?" Ryan questioned.
"Yeah...I guess so. For Rebecca." Jen responded.
"That's the spirit." Ryan smiled.
Jen stood up in the cell now and walked to the front of it, leaning against the bars in the most attractive manner that she could.
"Hey, Ray?" She started.
Ray looked over at her, his eyebrows raised.
"What?" He asked.
"Have I ever told you, just how handsome you are?" Jen wondered.
Ray's eyebrows raised higher, and a small smirk formed on his lips. He stood up from his chair and slowly began walking over to Jen, the jingling of keys could be heard from his back belt loop.
"No, I don't think you have. But, please tell me now." He replied in a flirtatious tone.
"Well, you've got a devilishly handsome smile, your eyes are so....enticing, and I'd love to see what your body looks like under that shirt..." Jen flirted.
