It's starting to become lighter outside and I fear for my health.
I glance up at the grandfather clock. I've been pacing about the hotel for ages and am finally ready to rest.
I call Bloodbath and Soulless and they come flying to me straight away from my room upstairs.
"Right. As of every Monday the hotel opens up for new customers and yes, it's Monday."
"Now come on! Become more than a bat once again! Take control of the hotel whilst I'm gone! Go! Go! Go!"
I watch Soulless go first. He transforms into a 5ft teenage boy with black long hair and blue eyes. Me and the bats have an inside joke where I'm Soulless' lookalike but I don't think that's so in my opinion.
Soulless wears red baseball boots and a black leather jacket with ripped up navy jeans complete with a white t-shirt.
"You. Look. Horrific." I say to him under my breath. I smile and he smiles back.
Then Bloodbath changes.
She turns into a wonderful lady with a long red and black gown. She has the darkest shade of purple in her hair and at the front she has little devil's horns which are black.
She has long buckle up brown boots and a cape patterned with skulls.
She also has an eyebrow piercing and sharp fangs.
I honestly don't know where Fangs is but I'm hoping she'll turn up tonight.
Bloodbath walks down the stairs to the kitchen. It's just me and Soulless. We don't talk very often so it's quite nice just us two.
There's a knock at the door.
I'm in the staff room/my room right now and that's where Soulless and Bloodbath changed.
I hear a few little taps at the door.
I send Soulless down to get it.
"I can't go down because it's the middle of the day and I'm staying here to rest!" I say to him.
"Ok, master." He replies.
He opens my door slightly just so he can fit through and walks to the main room under me.
So I guess you're wondering why I'm still awake in broad daylight? Well that's simple; there's blackout windows instead of see-through ones in my room and my room only so that I can see in daylight but I always feel like it's night if you know what I mean.
Also, the hallway next to my door is blacked out, too so that if anyone opens it, no sunlight beams in at me, turning me to stone.
If you think about it, it's really hard being half-vampire half-human because you are expected to act like a human outside, but in reality on the inside, you are a cold-blooded, no-hearted, bloodthirsty monster that everyone thinks is made up and only in movies.
I hardly go outside anyway as normal people scare me. They speak weirdly and act weirdly. They look funny and dress like their going to school all the time.
See, I may not go out as much as anyone else but I've seen them in the streets in dark hours. Teenagers scare the living shit out of me. I wouldn't wanna go near them if I tried.
