A Sudden Blind Panic

I sigh and slouch back into my not-so-comfortable, ripped up, piece of garbage chair in the 'staff room' which is actually just my room.
Well at least it has the arms so I can rest my hands on them.
Looking out of one of the windows, I see that it's still night and stormy as always.
Those two combined make it easy for me as I'm allergic to sunlight.
I don't actually know why I am it just happened or maybe I'm just scared of the sunlight because I sure as hell ain't going out in the daytime.
Suddenly I hear a crash from the 3rd floor which is above me and get panicky. I'm supposed to be alone. There's not supposed to be anyone in the hotel right now.
No one else has come to Fresher Lane Hotel after I drank the last customer's blood.
My heart rate feels like it's going up to 200 beats per minute and I'm not gonna lie, I feel kinda tense.
It's not often that I feel like this; maybe once or twice but vampires are supposed to be fearless and scared of nothing. I guess I'm just a wimpy blood-lover.
The dizziness starts to kick in. Oh, the dizziness tops it all off. Anything could happen in those minutes and I wouldn't be able to see as the world would be spinning. There's a sort of warm sensation down my back and it doesn't feel good.
God, I haven't panicked like this in ages.
I look to my left to see the carpeted stairway leading up to the 3rd floor.
It's very dark and the bad flickering lights on the ceiling hardly light the way.
I decide to stay in my chair as I don't  want to fall down the steps to my death if something jumps out at me like my past experiences. I didn't die as I'm already kinda dead but I know things. I just know things.
I try to calm down my breathing but I don't know how to do that properly so I end up having a mini panic attack whilst waiting for whatever it is above me to show itself.
I sound like a wuss and I'm not I'm just tired. I promise.
A cluster of bats flap down the steps and I almost laugh at myself for being such a foolish vampire. What the fuck was I thinking?
Fangs, Soulless and Bloodbath fly around my head, making me even more dizzy than in my blind panic.
"I love you guys, even if I have no heart."
I hold out my right hand and Soulless sits on the end of my little finger.
"So how much blood have you gathered today, hmm?"
All three of my bats have fangs and they're not blind like most normal bats.
Only the mortals have those kind of norms.
Boringgggg.
I yawn as I think about the idea of having a boring old bat with no interest in murder whatsoever. How could you even entertain yourself? Whatever.
Mortals are no fun. They're only fun when you're extracting their blood from the flesh to your fangs.
Now that's what I call entertainment. You need a little blood to spice up your life in an old, boring hotel like mine.
