Potions was first on the Gryffindors schedule. I sat in the front row so Sev wouldn't miss me.

"Silence!"Sev hissed when he came in. When he got to the front he looked at me in disbelief. However he said nothing, he knew about the foreign students studying at Hogwarts.

"Lily, what is this?" Sev held up a clear liquid. Of course he'd do this to me.

"Veritiserum the truth potion." I smirked. He regarded me closely, but chose to pick on Harry.

He set us up to brew an easy potion for me. "Lily, out here." Snape growled pointing to the door.

I shot Hermione an I'm sorry look. "What is it Professor Snape?" I asked coming into the hall.

"What have you told Potter and his friends about us?" Sev asked in a low voice.

"That I'm your neighbor. They don't need to know I live with you do they?" I whispered my hair turning red at the tips.

"The fire is being ignited. Remember, I'm only hiding you like this to keep you safe and ensure you have a future." Sev replied.

"I really like Harry." I announced when Sev turned to the door.

"What?!" Sev snarled.

"Potter as you call him, I like him. He's nice, why do you pick on him?" I asked curiously.

"You will find the answer when I tell you to reveal your true self. " Sev growled.

When we came back in, all the students were staring at us. I smirked at Sev. "Don't you have a potion to brew?" He hissed.

I rolled my eyes and continued making the potion with Hermione who looked thrilled to have someone on her intellectual level.

The next class is Transfiguration with Minerva. "Ah, Miss E- Abott, why don't you sit with Mr. Potter?"

I smiled this day couldn't get any better! We were practicing to change furniture into animals. With an easy flick of my wand, it changed.

"Hey Hermione, looks like you've got compettion." Ron sniggered. I glared at him as did Harry.

The rest of the weeks classes went by in a blur. Moodys class was by far the best.

Teaching us real defense. Everyone in my school would rather have a boy defend them. I felt like I was drooling at the end of the class. I was beyond excited! Sev never taught me anything magical besides potion brewing.

Transfiguration was really fun for me. Before I knew it, the night to pick.the Champions came.
