A few days after the First Task, I was having breakfast in the Great Hall with my brother when the Daily Prophet dropped onto the table by Cyril and Harry's owl. It said:

Dumbledore's Giant Mistake

Albus Dumbledore, eccentric Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, has never been afraid to make controversial staff appointments writes Rita Skeeter, Special Correspondent. In September of this year, he hired Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody, the notoriously junx-happy ex-Auror to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts, a decision that caused many raised eyebrows at the Ministry is try of Magic, given Moodys well-known habit of attacking anyone who makes  a sudden move in his presence. Made yet Moody, however, looks responsible and kindly when set beside the part-human Dumbledore employs to teach Care of Magical Creatures.
Rubeus Hagrid, who admits to being expelled from Hogwarts in his third year, has enjoyed the position of game keeper at the school ever since a job secured for him by Dumbledore. Last year, however, Hagrid used his mysterious influence over the headmaster to secure an additional post of Care of Magical Creatures teacher, over the heads of many better-qualified candidates.
An alarming large ferocious looking man, Hagrid has been using his new found authority to terrify students in his care with horrific creatures. While Dumbledore turns a blind eye, Hagrid has maimed several pupils   during a series of lessons that  many admit to being 'Very frightening."
"I was attacked by aa hippogriff and my friend Vincent Crabble got a bad bite off a flobberworm." Says Draco Malfoy a fourth year student. "We all  hate Hagrid , but we're too scared to say anything."
Hagrid has no intention of ceasing his campaign of intimidation, however. in conversation with a Daily Prophet  reporter las month, he has dubbed "Blast -Ended  Skrewts" highly dangerous cross between manticores and fire-crabs. The creation of new breeds of magical creature is, of course, an activity usually loosely observed by the Department of Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. Hagrid, however, consider himself above such petty restrictions.
"I was just having some fun," he says before hastily changing the subject.
As if this were not enough, the Daily Prophet  has now unearthed evidence that Hagrid is not--as he always pretended- a pure-blood wizard. He is not in fact, pure human. His mother, we can exclusively reveal is none other than the giantess Fridwulfa, whose where abouts are currently unknown.
Bloodthirsty and brutal, the giants brought themselves to the point of extinction by warring against themselves during the last century. The handful that remained joined the ranks of You-Know-Who, and were responsible for some of the worst  Muggle Killings of his reign of terror.
While many giants who served You-Know -Who, were killed by Aurors working against the dark side, Fridwulfa, was not among them. It is possib;le she escaped to one of the giant communities

"Ooh, I'll get that Skeeter!" Hermione growled and ran from the Great Hall.

"Uh-oh, Hermione has no idea who she's tangling with." I mumbled in an undertone.

"You said it Lily!" Ron replied at once. Burning the newspaper with his wand.

"Who is Hagrid?" I asked looking to Harry and Ron.

They mirrored my surprise. "I've been busy helping Fleur. That reminds me, have you taken my advice yet?" I whispered into Harry's ear.

He shook his head. "Get a move on it. I can't do everything for you."

"I never asked you to." Harry said defensively.

I walked after Hermione over to the huge hut at the edge of the Forbidden Forest.

"Hello? Hagrid? I'm visiting from Beauxbatons Academy and would love to talk to you." I said knocking on his door.

"He won't answer." Hermione replied tear stained.

"He's really a half giant huh? He can't be dangerous if Albus- I mean Dumbledore allows him near students." I reasoned out loud.

"Where did Rita find our these sick accusations?!" Hermione shrieked.

"I don't know. I'll see you later." I replied heading to see Sev. I hadn't visited him in a long time.

"What?" Sev snapped. Usually students would shrink, but I sighed.

"I can come back." I replied turning to leave.

The door opened. "Please stay, I was just coming to fund you. Exploding Snap?"

"Definately, and your going down!" I smirked.

Once we were playing, "Sev, can I come here next year?"

"Yes. I was planning on transferring you. Look," Sev revealed the Dark Mark on his forearm. Very slowly it became more prominant. "It's becoming clearer. I need you under my watch."

"Thanks for caring Sev. If you want to treat me dofferently, I won't mind. I understand you have a reputation to uphold." I replied.

"It will depend if your in my house or not. Between  the two of us, you'd never survive in here. It'd be safest in Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff."

"Not with Harry?" I asked disappointed.

"Depends, but I don't want him dragging you into his scenes of his." Sev growled.
"In the last three years alone, he almost got killed a number of times."

"I know. the troll, the cerbus, Devils snare, chess, potion room, Quirrell, chamber of secrets Aragog, Remus Lupin, Whomping willow, Sirius Black. I get it." I replied rolling my eyes. "I'll be with them, but just not participating...like Neville."

"Good idea. When will you tell Potter about us?" Sev asked raising his euebrows.

"Never, if you want to maintain your cover as a double agent." I replied.

"Well stated, maybe after the Dark Lord is gone?" Sev asked.

"Of course."

"Lily, I know I haven't been the most affectionate parent, but..." Sev said slowly.

"Sev, it's fine. Mum named you my godfather for who you are, not to become a huge cuddly teddy bear. I'm not complaining." I touched his hand.
