Everyone was gathered in the Great Hall to watch Albus read off the names of the Champions. The Goblet turned red and spewed out a piece of parcment.
"The Champion from Dermstrang is Victor Krum!"
Everyone cheered, including me. However I was never interested in Quidditch, another trait my mother and I share."Beauxbatons is....Fleur Delcour!" I screamed at the top of my lungs so excited for my best friend.
"Hogwarts is ...Cedric Diggory! These are your champions and may I wish you good..." the goblet turned red a fourth time. I froze as did everyone in the room.
Like a zombie, Albus took the parchment reading "Harry Potter!"
Uh-oh. I looked to see Harry's face turn white. He tried to hide, but me and Hermione pushed him to go on. The hall fell silent in shock, four champions?!
Minerva quickly had us leave for bed. "Lily!" A voice said from behind.
I turned to find Ron and Hermione behind me. "Yes?"
"Where are you going?" Ron asked.
"To bed." I said pointedly.
"Why don't you join me? It's too cold out there." Hermione offered.
"That's sweet, but I'm fine. Find me tomorrow, ok?" I smiled at them turning back to the door. I had to respect Sevs only wish and remain with my school.
Sev could easily send me home if I disobey him. I fell asleep and woke up early. I came back into the castle to explore.
"Lily, what are you doing here?" A tired voice asked. I turned to find Sev staring at me.
"Professor Snape, nice to see you as always. I'm just exploring the castle." I replied honestly.
"What do you think of Potter?" Sevs question threw me off guard.
"He's nice, but I can tell he's a bit nosey. However, he isn't the arrogant attention seeking celebrity that you always said he was." I almost snapped.
Sev sighed. "I read the rules of the Tournament, if you want to help a champion, you may."
"I see, why do you think I'm capable of helping these champions? Fleur didn't even tell me what the first task is." I replied
"Don't think of ways you can't help, but think of ways you can." Sev reminded walking away.
"Sev? Are you mad that I came here?" I had to know.
Sev turned, "no, I'm not. To be truthful, I wanted you here but for safety measures, you had to be far away. Of course I wanted you close so I could keep an eye on you, but we can't all get what we want."
"Sev, is there any way I can come here someday?" I asked hopefully.
"I'll consider it. Now go on to breakfast." Sev shot me a small smile.
I ran to the Great Hall, to find Harry and his two friends. Ron was glaring in any direction. "Hermione, where's Harry?"
"Still up in his dorm, wanna come with me? We can take him for a walk." Hermione said getting up.
"Ok, but I'm not going in his dorm." I said firmly.
"Fine. Come on." Hermione replied leading me up the several stairs. "What do you think of Harry?"
"I like him, he's nice." I replied tucking my hair behind my ear with my left hand.
"What's that?" Hermione asked grabbing my hand. She turned it up to expose the ingraving.
