"Sevvy, come on please!" I whinned.
"Absolutely not." Severus snapped attempting to drag me away from the Quidditch Supplies store.
I turned to face him clenching my eyes shut. When I opened them, they mirrored my mums and my hair turned the same shade as hers.
"Lily Evans! That's enough!" Sev snarled grabbing my arm and twisted on the spot.
We arrived home in Spinners End. Sev is my uncle, but I call him Sev per his request. Sometimes I imagine the horrified look on his face if I ever called him Uncle Sev.
"Lily, you stay here, while I get your things. I hope by the time I come back, the fire will be extinguished?" Sev smirked.
"Sure Uncle Sev." I replied smiling to myself.
"You are so close to me locking you in your room." Snape hissed.
"Sorry. I'll see you later Sev." I pouted.
"When I return, I'll make dinner, then we can continue making our potions." A ghost of a smile appeared on his lips.
"Ok. I'll change my hair back to its disguise color." I replied defeated.
"Thank you. See you soon." Sev spun on the spot and was gone.
When he was gone, I ran up to my room. On my bedside table lies the picture of my parents Sev gave me for my 11th birthday.
I sighed wishing I could go to Hogwarts with him, but he forbid me to go. I go to Beaubatons Academy in France. Even though Sev is a master at Occulamens, I still have some secrets from him.
I sat down at my desk to complete my homework. I only have potions left which is ironic. Being under the care of a Potions Professor, and I struggle with the subject.
An hour had passed when I heard a crack I looked up. Joy flooded through me. Sev is back!
I came downstairs hoping to find my uncle, but a tall woman dressed in emerald robes came instead. When she saw me, she smiled.
"Lily Abott?" She asked. I nodded feeling the need to shrink.
"Yes, do you know where Sev is?" I asked timidly. Even though Sev is amazing at being intimidating, this woman is better.
The woman sniggered, I looked at her surprised. "My apologies, Severus was called away for a few days. He asked for me to look after you." The woman replied.
"Can you tell me your name at least?" I asked coming closer to the woman.
"Severus didn't tell you about me?" The woman's expression turned sour. I shook my head. "I'm Minerva, a professor at Hogwarts."
My head snapped up, "Can you tell me about Hogwarts? Every time I ask Sev, he dismisses my questions."
"Of course, I'll make dinner, then we can talk." Minerva smiled.
I came into the kitchen with her and saw her pull out a long elegant wand. "Your wand is very pretty."
"Huh? Oh thank you, Lily. Is Sev your guardian? He's never told me about you till half an hour ago." Minerva announced.
"He told me that he's my guardian since my parents died a year after I was born." I replied.
"Who were your parents?" Minerva asked curiously.
"Someone from the Abott family, I can't remember their names." I replied thankful I changed my hair to chestnut brown and my eyes to sea blue.
"Ah, I see. Here you go. Are you still working on homework?" Minerva asked.
"Yea, I only have potions left. I wish I could go to Hogwarts, but Sev forbids it." I sighed wistfully.
"It would just make it akward for him, that's all." Minerva replied.
"Thanks for dinner Minerva, I'm going to bed." I said getting up.
"Ok, if you ever want to hear more about Hogwarts, you can always owl me." Minerva smiled.
"Ok, thanks." I replied smiling at her. When I got into my room, I shoved the picture of my parents deep in my side table drawer. Sev told me when I was 5 to never tell anyone who my parents are.
Even though I asked why, he'd only tell me it's to keep me safe. I fell asleep as soon as my head hit my pillow.
