SEULHI'S POV

I peeked outside of the toilet, my eyes running around to see if there was any homosapien named Jungkook lingering around the hallway. Ever since I woke him up in the detention room, I was so afraid to face him because the eyes he shot me before I dashed out was the eyes of a monster.

But at the same time, I felt so highly content.

It was a good shove.

In the class, he kept shooting me his death glare and clenched his teeth whenever our eyes met. It was enough to prove that he was beyond pissed and ever since, my mind had been busy rethinking back about all the sins I'd committed and thought of going to church today and even made a mental note to finish all my fruit loop, oreo and ice cream the latest tonight, considered I myself didn't sure whether I still could try them tomorrow.

I might be 6 feet under the ground!

Just by imagining it was enough to make my hair stood upright.

Right when the class was over, I quickly grabbed my belongings and ran out of the class to where I was at the moment,

In the freaking girl's toilet.

To be honest, I could have just straightaway ran back to my house when I fled off the class, but I was so terrified with the thought that I, somehow in anyway, would actually bump into him around the school.

So, the best suggestion my flight and fight offered was to find the toilet and stay until I was sure the demon had left the school.

35 minutes had passed and I was already drenched with my own sweat. I should have known the consequences of staying in here but do you really think I would reconsider if you were in my situation? I just gave a hard shove right in the middle of the school bad boy's forehead!

I peeked outside and I heaved a big sigh of relief when I found out there were only few people left and a heavy weight on my shoulder instantly lifted off when I caught no sight of Jeon Jungkook or his crew.

I walked off of the toilet and instantly went home, forcing my legs to run harder than usual. When I entered my house, I instantly made my way to my mom who was baking in the kitchen and greeted her, panting VERY heavily.

How can someone be this weak...

"Oh My sweetie, when did you come back?" She asked, busy taking out the cupcakes out of the oven to even spare me a glance and I was thankful enough that I'd time to take my time regainimg my normal breath rate.

"Half a minute ago."

"Oh, have you eaten? Wait! before that, how was school? You're didn't get yourself in trouble, do you? " She was worried, yes but it didn't mean I couldn't see the amusement dancing in her eyes. She had no idea that the book which she saw was half-burnt yesterday wasn't mine but as usual, she didn't need that information related to them.

"I got detention, mom." and I was not surprised when my mom squealed in her place and came towards me to wrap me in her arms.

"Finally, I've been waiting for this moment! Oh my, baby you're a grown up lady now!" I rolled my eyes when she wiped the imaginary tears under her eyes. Well, I was nearly 18 and my school record was so clean and I had zero experience partying, drinking or even sneaking out of the house and that somehow, worried her that I still couldn't move on from my past.

"What did they make you to do? Write 1000 words essay? Scrub the gums under the bleachers? Or just stay there doing nothing?"

I shook my head and pulled my face into a scowl but a betrayal smile still slipped through my teeth, "No, I just had to redo the homework." I told and she nodded her head before asking me to try the cupcake she just baked.
