Chapter 49

SEULHI'S POV

"Mummy Seul! Mummy Seul!" A small boy came enfolding his hands around my legs the moment I opened the door. I grinned and kneeled down to lift the boy up. But much to my surprise, he instantly looked at Jungkook behind me with a death glare. "Bad guy, why you eat my mummy's face!?"

Oh, Charlie.

I turned around and expected Jungkook to laugh but it surprised me to see Jungkook just smirked at Charlie with one eyebrow raised, "Eat? Oh please boy, you don't know how delicious her face is."

I gasped and my mouth wide open once I heard that. I gave him a glare and as if nothing happen, he shrugged his shoulder and made a face that screamed 'what?'.

I shook my head at him and mouthed, "He's a kid!"

Jungkook opened his mouth to say something but was interrupted by Charlie asking in excitement. "Really? Mummy Seul! Mummy Seul! I want to eat too!?"

"No. You can't." Jungkook quickly respond and I rolled my eyes. I watched as Charlie kept glaring at Jungkook whilst Jungkook just shoved his tongue out childishly, boiling up the small kid.

"DADDY!" I jolted a bit when Charlie suddenly shouted so loud. I spared Jungkook a glance and I instantly turned into a laughter mess once I saw his face of pure horror.

"Hey, hey no no no!  Don't cry!" Jungkook seemed so scare that I couldn't help but to once again laugh at him. Charlie snuggled his face to my shoulder and cried louder, making Jungkook to became more anxious. "This this. Take this. Take this. Please stop crying!"

He pleaded as he shoved his phone to Charlie who instantly stopped crying with the sight of it. Charlie softly sobbed and eventually took the phone Jungkook gave. Jungkook sighed in relief but soon his eyes widened again when Daniel came.

"Are you guys going to stand there all night long or coming in and have dinner with us? Grandma waiting." Daniel asked before his eyes landed on Charlie whose eyes reddened, playing with Jungkook's phone. He stared deeply at his son and held out both his arms towards Charlie to take him from me, "By the way, why is my lil superman crying?"

And just like that, Charlie glared at Jungkook and pointed at him. "Uncle bad guy doesn't let me eat Mummy Seul's face!"

Daniel's eyes widened, obviously shocked but then his expression changed. His lips quivered as he tried hard to seal them tight so that he would not burst out laughing out loud. He threw a glance between the two of us, still holding in his laugh, "Told you I'm tired of this whole face eating stuff."

"So, you're not remarried to that model?"

This sudden question coming from my grandmother's mouth made me to choke on my water but I quickly composed myself to stop from further embarrassment. And it pissed me off when I looked at Daniel, only to find him wiggling his eyebrows at me.

This guy.

Jungkook flashed grandma his beautiful smile and shook his head, "No. Actually, my mother was the one who planned the marriage between me and Izzy, but I strongly refused because she is just the someone I want to be friend with. Not more than that."

"So, until then you don't find yourself a new girl to replace Seulhi?"

Jungkook shyly giggled and shook his head, "She is so special to me Mrs. Scarlet. Its been a year but nobody can replace her. She is just irreplaceable."
