(Dan's POV)

As a child we're all told stories, some about things that have happened, others that haven't. When I was a toddler I was told a story of the Galaxy King. He only came out at night and when he did he turned the sky into a beautiful starry sky....

"Mummy! I want to sleep outside tonight!"

"Darling you did yesterday though, you don't need to again."

"Mum please!" I stomped my foot and pouted.

"Fine. Get your tent and other things." She sighed. "I'll leave the back door unlocked tonight."

I grinned happily as I set up my tent. It was small and yellow, with a pointed roof.

I patiently waited for the sky to be scattered with stars, then He would come down and we'd talk all night.

I patiently sat with my back against the old willow tree with my legs crossed, looking up in the sky. I smiled to myself as the stars became more visible. Hurry up, I thought to myself.

I felt something touch my shoulder, and right then and there I seen the pale teenager with white eyes and black hair. Phil smiled happily and sat in front of me.

"Hey, Dan." He said with a smile. "How've you been?"

   "Good!" I grinned.

"You've lost a tooth eh?" He chuckled. "Soon you'll have grown up teeth."

"Like yours?" I asked. He nodded and patted my head. "What's it like up there, Phil?"

"In the sky?" He asked. "It's very... Big."

   "What's your home like?"

"It's like... Made of that stuff," he pointed at the window.

   "Glass?"

He nodded. "Yes, glass. But our glass isn't the same. And we don't sleep on beds. We sleep in... In those things," he pointed at the hammock. "And we don't eat human food."

"Is it fun?" I asked. "Being a prince? "

He only chuckled and stood up "come, Daniel. If you wish for me to do the magic then we'll have to go into your tent."

    And so we did.

I sat in front of him. He seen that I had blacked out the tent this time and was happy. Last time it was too bright and mum seen it. He was almost caught.

He held out his hands together, forming a small cup. I second later, a small little cluster of stars were formed in his hand. He looked at me with a smile.

"Where's it at in the sky?" I asked with a grin.

"Ten years away." He replies. He tosses his hands up, so now it's spread out around the tent, spinning slowly. It stayed there until I fell asleep.

   Ten years later

"I can't believe you still sleep out there sometimes." Mum shook her head as I grabbed my bag. I built myself a tree house in the willow tree and slept there most of the time. There was black padding on the inside, along with black tinted windows and a black door. Phil helped me build it one night, and that's became our place.

"Am I not allowed to be happy?" I asked her sarcastically. "At least I'm going outside."

"Oh shoo." She hit me with a towel playfully, and an hour later I was setting up my small bed. I kept the window open so he could come through it. I had decided to go get some food, so I ran into the kitchen for a second to make me something real quick. When I came back there was the teen boy sitting on my bed, playing with the duvet.

I smiled and sat next to him. His wings glowed slightly as he looked at me, those white eyes burning into mine.

"So," I ate a piece of popcorn. "This girl, Laura, kissed me today."

"Do you like her that way?" He asked.

I shook my head. "Nah.. I don't really like girls. "

"What?" He tilted his head. "So you're ill?"

"What, no!" I laughed. "I'm gay, Phil."

"Yeah," he nodded. "My dad says that's an illness. I told him I was and he said I was just sick."

"Thought you didn't get sick." I raised an eyebrow.

He just smiled and shrugged, hitting my shoulder with his. "He doesn't know I come see you, ya know."

   "Why not?" I asked.

"Because you're a boy, and he'll think I like you."

"You don't like me?" I couldn't help but frown.

"Of course I do! I meant in that way, Dan." He chuckled. "I like you in that way, too, but I can't tell my dad that or else I won't be able to leave."

"Phil...." I sat up straighter slightly and looked at him. "You.. You like me?"

He turned to me, completely oblivious to what he had said. "What? Yeah. Why? Should I not like you?"

"N-No I just-" I scratched the back of my head. "Do the magic."

And he did. He didn't keep it in his hand, he put it up to the roof, so I looked up and smiled. It was a blue green spiral galaxy.

   "Where's it at?" I whispered.

"A million years away." He replied. I looked at him, and he was watching me. His head was tilted to the side slightly, and he was smiling. "You are insanely cute, Daniel."

I coughed and looked down, smiling. "I am not... Don't lie to me, Phil."

He lifted my chin, frowning a bit. "Don't ever say that again.." He whispered. "Dan you're amazing. Not just because you're human, because you're you. I've never met anyone like you, I'm drawn to you, Dan. I cannot keep myself away even if I tried."

"Stop," I smiled and looked up. "You're making me blush."

"Dan... Look at me." He said softly. I did. He gently grabbed the back of my neck, pulling me to him. We both kissed, I didn't dare hesitate. I did care for this man a lot. I had known him forever, and I was in love.

I moved so I was sitting on his lap. His hands moved down and held my hips. I clung to his shirt. For some reason I was scared he wouldn't be here when I opened my eyes.

"Phil.." I whispered. "Will you be here tomorrow?"

"I'm here every night," he smiles. "I promise I'll always be here."

We laid together that night, looking at different galaxy's and talking about them.

And for once, when I woke up, he was there.

I kind of want to make an actual story, I have an idea for it and I might do it in the future
