Phan One Shots

   "I'm nervous."

"You have every right to be, but like I said, it's your decision, Dan." Phil sat next to me, handing me a mug filled to the brim with coffee.

I had decided to change my "branding". It was getting old being known as danisnotonfire from YouTube. That's how I was introduced to celebrities and such. It made me feel like when I was introduced that way that people didn't take me serious cause of the name. I wanted to be taken seriously, I was getting older, more open, and a lot more mature than I used to be.

"What if they don't like it?" I asked, looking back at my laptop. I had my Subscriber count pulled up, watching as the number dropped, climbed, then stood still. "They might hate me for it."

"Dan they won't hate you I promise." Phil gave me an assuring smile. "It's just a name change, your url will still be dinof."

"But to them.. It'll be very different." I closed the screen, then went to the uploading screen that was pulled up. I had made a video about it, explaining everything why in detail. But for dome reason the thought of everyone being disappointed in me hurt.

Phil clicked Upload for me, then patted my shoulder. "I'll be here, you know that."

"Yes I know.." I chewed on my lip and kept refreshing the page, looking at the comments piling in.

I wanted to cry.

"See? They're standing you. I told you they would, now chin up, and go back to being your sarcastic self.",

It was true, I seen comments saying they were 100% behind me on my choice, barely seen any hate comments, and a few comments that I knew were joking. They cared. They supported me. I didn't have anything to worry about after all. Now hopefully I'd be taken serious, this was my career after all. I loved it, though. Wouldn't have it any other way.
