(Phil's Point Of View)

I set the last box down in the hall and sat on it, sighing loudly. I had finally moved out of my mum's home and into my own apartment. Of course she had to do background searches on the places I wanted to live in and approve them. This apartment I had picked had just barely passed. I was busy packing and boxing up my things in about a week because I had so much stuff, and it only took three hours getting it all into my apartment.

"So call me every morning okay?" Mum finished her ranting and hugged me.

"Mum I'm not going anywhere far away!" I chuckled and hugged back. "Calm down!"

"I can't Phil!" She said dramatically. "My baby boy is leaving the home!"

"You didn't do this when Martyn left." I pointed out. "So why ya doing this with me?"

"You'll understand when you have a wife and some children." She said. "Anyway, I need to go, your father is probably wondering where I am. Be safe, okay?" She hugged me again. "I love you."

"I love you too." I smiled. After she was gone, I started to unpack. My furniture wasn't here yet, which sorta made things a tad difficult. I looked for the box which held my camera, and once I found it I pulled it out and hit record.

"Hey guys," I waved. "So uhm, I moved? It's a huuge step for me but im excited about it. I can be a little louder and i get to walk around in my underwear." I spent the next few minutes talking to the camera as I set things up in my lounge.

I finished, and said my goodbyes, then set the camera up on the mantle. The doorbell rung, and I ran down to the door and opened it. A boy stood there with a plate. He looked about 19 years old, very young.

"My uh.. My mum wanted me to bring you this." He said and held the plate out. "To welcome you. We live across from you."

"Thank you," I smiled politely and took the plate. "Would you like to come in?"

"I can't, I've got to study for uni." He shrugged.

"Maybe some other time?" I asked.

"Maybe." He looked back at his door real quick. "I uh.. I'll see you later."

   "I'm Phil, by the way."

   "Dan."

"So tell me, Phil, how does your job even work?" Dan was sprawled out in my bedroom floor as I was setting up my things.

"Well... I film a video of me doing anything. Usually I just talk, then I edit it and upload it."

"And people actually enjoy them?" He asked with a sarcastic tone.

"Hey!" I threw a sock at him. "My videos are good!"

"How long do you even plan on being a youtuber?" He sat up and looked at me.

I hadn't thought about that. I never really thought of being anything else, youtube was my home. "I guess.. Until I grow too old."

   "Too old for what?"

"Too old to remember how to edit." I smiled. "My YouTube name is Amazingphil. You should check me out sometime."

"Alright," he nodded. "Maybe I will, Mr. Lester."

   "Good. Mr. Howell."

"I hate my life so much. Sometimes I think everyone would be happier if I was dead."

I looked at Dan, who was sat on my bed. I sat across from him and watched him thoughtfully. He was looking at me, instead he was looking at my duvet, leaning against the headboard.

   "Why's that?" I asked.

"I dropped out." His voice cracked. "Of Uni. I don't want to be in law school. It's stressful and makes me want to hang myself. I told my parents that and they yelled at me. Yelled at me. Because I wasn't happy."

"They're just disappointed." I shrugged. "They'll get over it, Dan."

"But what if they don't, Phil? What if they always nag at me because of this?" He looked at me. "They hold grudges against anyone and anything they can."

"Move out, then." I said. My stomach hurt seeing my friend upset, and I had to make it better.

"With who? Where?" His voice sounded cold. "No one likes me Phil. No one. You're my only friend."

"Then move in with me." The words came out before I registered what I was going to say. They felt right, I guess.

"W-What? You.. Really?" He looked at me. I simply nodded, and he reached forward and hugged me tightly. "Thank you Phil... You're..."

   "Amazing?" I grinned.

"You and your bloody puns!" He laughed. "But yes. You're very amazing, Phil."

"Phil? Phil this thing is too heavy for me..." I peaked my head out from my room and seen him pointed at a box.

"You're lazy." I said as I picked it up. We walked to his room, the one right across from mine. I set it down on his bed and turned to face him.

"You're just stronger than me." He said with a smile.

My stomach felt funny, I coughed and looked away. "Come on, Lazy. It's dinner time."

"I didn't know you could cook well." Dan said to me after we ate.

"There's a lot of things you don't know about me yet." I winked.

"Then let's play 20 Questions." He said with a smile. "Favorite color?"

   "Blue." I answered. "Favorite band?"

"Muse." He answered. "Something you're scared of?"

   "Horses. You?"

   "Moths." He cringed.

"Moths?" I laughed. "Dan that's funny."

"Shut up!" He said with a laugh.

"Dan's scared of moths~" I sang out loud. "Dans scared of mo-" a pillow hit my face.

He grinned at me. I rolled my eyes and stood up, walking over to him.

"Mister Howell," I said, leaning down to where he sat. "Did you just throw a pillow at my face?"

"Maybe I did," He sassed, sitting up. "What are you gonna do about it?"

"I don't think you can handle what I'd do," I remarked with a smirk.

"Wanna bet?" He glanced at my lips. I could tell he wanted to kiss me as bad as I wanted to kiss him.

   "Yep." I whispered.

"Try me." He murmured right before our lips touched. He reached up, cupping my cheek. I stood him up, then picked him up, where I walked him to my bedroom.

"Well?" He got off me and looked at me with a grin of his face. "I think I handled it well."

"Me too." I winked and pulled him too me. He kept his head on my chest, my arm was around him, keeping him close. I wanted this to last forever.

Something in my back of my mind told me it would.
