2 years later

I watched as Diego played with Daelan and Hannah, tossing him in the air as he giggled and smiled widely. My mother intuition almost gave me a heart attack but I trusted Diego with our son, he wouldn't let any harm come his way.

Hannah squealed, running away when Diego started chasing after her with Daelan in his arms, giggling like there was no tomorrow. I sighed, resting my hands on the blanket as I stared at them. We were having a picnic on the pack grounds, Hannah's parents came, my parents, Diego's parents and Olivia with Ivan. Yep, they were mates. Now Olivia was expecting their first child. She just found out though, Ivan was happy and couldn't stop walking after her and make sure she was okay. Olivia finds that annoying because she is not even showing yet. But I find that cute, Ivan loves her so much.

As for Diego and I, nothing happened. After that bedroom scene we never touched each other again. I was busy with Daelan and him with his pack works. I won't say that I don't miss him because that's a lie. I do miss him. My soul was healed when Daelan and Hannah returned to me, what Diego did to me was starting to fade away and I felt ready to forgive him and for him to forgive me.

"Chica, you're spacing out." Olivia said as she sat down next to me, "Careful." Ivan said when she plunged down and Olivia groaned with a roll of an eye while I giggled at them. "Can I talk to my best friend? Shoo." She shooed Ivan away as she turned to look at me. "What's up girl?"

"Nothing." I shook my head with a smile, glancing up at Diego. He had shifted into his wolf, playfully rolling around as Hannah and Daelan squealed loudly, holding Daelan's hand as they ran. "He is so good with kids. You guys need to make another one." I threw Olivia a look when she said that. "What?"

"Olivia, Diego and I have at least three years without having sex and two years without being involved romantically." Olivia gaped at me when I said that, "Diego and you didn't?" She made unappropriated hand gesture with her finger and I shook my head at her with a scoff.

"No Olivia, we didn't have sex, we didn't kiss, nada. Nothing. Daelan is the only reason why we actually speak to each other." I told her with a sigh, looking up at Diego who growled playfully at them, the kids liking it.

"Are you going to give him a chance?" Olivia asked me as she stared at Ivan who joined them, ganging upon the poor kids who couldn't stop smiling and giggling. "I forgave him." I shrugged, "I don't held any grudge against him, it's been years. I don't know if he forgave me but I know that I did." I stood up when Hannah came with Daelan in her arms, the poor child didn't even know how badly he was being carried, he had a grin on his face showing his two front teeth.

I took him over and showered him with kisses, "He needs a diaper change." Hannah giggled as she waved her hand in front of her nose. I cooed at him, "You need a diaper change?" I moved him side to side as I kissed his chin. "Come on, let's get you change up." I hooked him on my hip and walked back toward Diego's house.

I made my way toward the nursery room and placed him on the bed, taking his shorts to remove the dirty diaper. I cleaned him up and put another diaper on, lifting up his short. "Yes baby, all cleaned up again." Daelan smile at me as he drooled,  legs and arms kicking around as he tried to touch my face.

I kissed his palms and picked up him, "Give me my grandson." My mother said as she walked toward me, taking him away from me, "I'll go to the bathroom." I walked away from her and made my way into the bathroom, heading toward the toilet.

I did my business and cleaned up, flushing the toilet as I made my way toward the sink, washing my hands. I heard a sound and dried my hands, making my way out of the bathroom. "Mom?" I made my way into the bedroom but found no one, frowning, I walked out of the bedroom and made my way out of the house, only to see Diego in his room, taking his shirt off.
