Reunited From The Past | Snowbarry (Discontinued)

Love is a strong word

Caitlin's POV:

Right now me,Jessie,Abigail, Jake, Ronnie, and Barry, are at the cafe talking about different types of things.

Jessie and Abby are talking to eachother about their feelings. Yet every time they talk, Jessie glances at me and I exchange it back.

Jake and Ronnie are arguing about who gets the last donut.

Barry was just looking at Jessie and in between me like he was trying to see if there was something up. So I decided to talk to him again.

I lean over to Barry and whisper to him.

Caitlin: "Barry I already told you, me and Jessie aren't a thing he lov-"
Barry: "Ever think he could love two people."
Caitlin: "Barr he doesn't like me okay?"
Barry: "But do love him?"
Caitlin: "No."

Barry looks into my eyes trying to find a lie. I start to get very uncomfortable when he stares at me for 20 seconds, so I look down a shift in my seat.

Barry: "Then who do you love?"

This is it. This is the time I finally tell Barry I love him.

Caitlin: "....Barry, I love-"
Unknown: "Barry?"

Barry looks behind him and his eyes suddenly widen. I look behind me and see a girl much prettier than me standing with a coffee in her hand.

Barry: "...Kara."

Barry jumps out of his seat running over to this...Kara. Barry wraps his arms around her waist and she wraps her arms around his neck. They hug for about 30 seconds saying, 'I missed you so much' and 'I thought I'd never see you again'.

They both pull away and look into eachothers eyes standing there for a while.

Barry turns around and sees everyone staring at him and Kara.

Barry clears his throat.

Barry: "Uhh guys, I would like you to meet Kara."

Kara stands there smiling genuinely at us.

Barry walks over to another table to get a chair and puts it on the side right beside his. Kara sits on it and looks around eyes landing on me. She gives me a smile and I return it.

Jake: "Who dis?"

Kara: "Kara, Kara Danvers."

She sticks out her out for him to shake it but he doesn't shake it. Instead he replaces it by putting a sour patch in her hand.

Jake: "For your sourness."

Ronnie slaps Jakes chest.

Ronnie: "Shut up Jake."

Jake: "Yes Daddy."

Ronnie: "Dude don't call me that."

Jake: "Why Daddy?"

Ronnie: "Jake I swear to god-"

Jake: "What's wrong Daddy."

Ronnie: "Jake shut the hell up or I swear-"

Jake: "What are you gonna do? Spank me?"

Ronnie stays silent and turns red with embarrassment. Ronnie stands up walking to the exit.

Jake: "Ronnie come on it was a joke."

Ronnie slams the door shut behind him, but soon Jake opens it running after him.

Kara: "Well they have a weird friendship."
Barry: "More like a weird relationship."

We all stare at Barry. I don't think he meant to say that by the way he was looking down not paying attention to us but his coffee. He looks up and sees us staring at him. He then realized what he had said by his eyes widening.

Abigail: "Barry...what do you mean by that?"

Barry: "...Nothing."

Kara: "Barry stop lying."
Barry: "I'm not lying."

Kara: "Barry I know when you're lying, your eyebrow always twitches when you do."

Barry: "Not a secret of mine to tell so leave it."

Caitlin: "..How do you guys know eachother?"

Kara: "Oh, we actually met when we were 12, in 6th grade. We became friends and we both had a crush on eachother. We started dating when we were in 8th grade and so when we were Seniors I had to move. So we had to break up."

Then that had me thinking.

Caitlin: "...What day did you guys break up."

Kara: "Um November 19."

And that's when my heart broke. That was the week where he liked me. He couldn't have just moved on from her if he dated her for that long.

Barry saw my reaction and he turned to me he placed his hand on mine but I snatched it away.

Barry: "Cait please."

I grab my bag and headed for the door. I opened it and started walking. I then get pulled by the arm and turned around. Barry is now in front of me. He sees the tears that are leaving my face.

Barry: "Caitlin can you please let me explain."
Caitlin: "You used me!"
Barry: "Caitlin I really did like you okay?"
Caitlin: "You just move on to quickly huh?!"

I try to walk away but he has hold of me.

Barry: "Caitlin please just listen to me."

Caitlin: "No! I meant nothing to you huh?!"

Barry: "CAIT I DID LIKE YOU! FOR GODS SAKE I WAS IN LOVE WITH YOU!"

I pause and look up at him.

Barry: "I...You were the one person that I loved. I'm an awful person for just letting you go. But I love you to much to let you go now."

I didn't say anything back.

Caitlin say something or you won't have the chance to.

Barry: "Please say something Cait."

Caitlin say something now dang it!

Barry looks down at the floor. A tear leaves his eye and he lets go off me. He starts walking back to the cafe. When he's about to open the door he gets stopped by me saying something.

Caitlin: "Barry!"

Barry turns to me. I run up to him and get ahold of his neck and smash my lips on his. He kisses me back and holds me by the waist. I didn't care if anyone was watching us in the cafe. I knew my feelings towards Barry were real.

I pull away and look at him.

Caitlin: "I love you too Barr."
