Its time

Jake's POV:
Part of me wants to die tonight.

Part of me wants it to be an accident.

And part of me wants somebody to notice and stop me.

But that part is trapped somewhere far in my brain.

He makes me happy.
He makes my life complete.

...but I feel...scared.

Scared of myself..

Scared of the voices that I once thought went away.

I sit on the couch inside my house flicking through the channels on the tv.

Ronnie: "Jake?"

I turn my head seeing Ronnie rubbing his eyes walking down the stairs.

Jake: "Hey."

Ronnie: "Why are you up? It's 3am."

Jake: "Oh um, I couldn't sleep."

Ronnie just nods and sits beside wrapping his arms around my waist. I put my head on top of his.

He takes my hand and intertwines it with his.

Ronnie: "I love you."

Jake: "..I love you too."

But I'm sorry.

Caitlin's POV:

Caitlin: "Hey Kara."

I just walk into my house seeing Kara fixing eggs.

She looks at me and smiles.

Kara: "You hungry."

I shook my head.

Caitlin: "No I'm fine I ate at Barry's."

She smiles at me and turns the stove off.

She puts her eggs on her plate then walks over to the table.

I set my purse down and walk over to her, and sit beside her.

Caitlin: "So, how would you like it if I gave this apartment to you."

She stops chewing and her eyes go wide.

Kara: "Y-You're serious?"

I nod.

Caitlin: "I'm going to move in with Barry once you're all settled with the baby."

She gives me a big smile then jumps out of her seat and hugs me.

Kara: "Thank you Caitlin! You don't know how much this means to me."

Caitlin: "It's no problem Kara. I just want to make sure you're safe."

We pull away from the hug and as she's about to say something she cuts herself off by gasping and clutching her stomach.

Caitlin: "Woah what's wrong are you okay?!"

Kara: "I think my water broke."

I grabbed my purse and swing it over my shoulder.

Caitlin: "Okay Kara, your gonna have to breathe in and out, and walk to my car can you do that."

Kara nods her head rapidly and starts to take deep breaths.
