A Heart Can Never Be Fixed

Barry's POV:

I hate hospitals.

Especially this one.

The one I remember of Caitlin dieing in.

I was running in the hospital with Jake in my arms and they set him in this rollable bed, and sent him into a room.

Now I was just sitting with Caitlin waiting for them to say that visitors could go see him since they would only let family in.

Which reminds me...

I take my phone out of my pocket and scroll through my contacts finding one specific person.

Tori. Jakes sister.

I press the call button and let it ring.

Tori: "Hello?"
Barry: "Tori hey it's Barry."
Tori: "Barry hey! What's going on you usually call me when Jake does something bad."
Barry: "He's in the hospital Tori..."
Tori: "Wait w-what?! What happened?!"
Barry: "He accidentally stabbed himself in the side of his ribs and doctors say he's going to have to be put down for surgery but we can't because they expect us to pay for it."
Tori: "What?! Ugh this is why I hate doctors. Um how much money?"
Barry: "6,589."
Tori: "WHAT?! Barry I don't I have that much money right now..."
Barry: "Its ok...w-we'll figure something out."

I thought she would have the money but now I know she doesn't so I don't know how to save Jake.

A tear slips from my eye thinking of how I'm probably going to loose my best friend. Caitlin grabs my hand and intertwines them.

I look at her and give her a smile.

Tori: "W-what hospital, I need to see him."
Barry: (Tells her hospital name.)
Tori: "That hospital is 4 days away from here."
Barry: "Where are you right now...I have a friend that can pick you up."
Tori: "And who is this friend Barry?"
Barry: "...The flash."
Tori: "W-what? H-how do you know the flash."
Barry: "No further questions what's your address."

She tells me her address and we end the call.

Barry: "Caitlin I'll be right back I have to go pick up Jakes sister and bring her here."

Caitlin nods and I walk outside where I'm away from people. I look both ways to check if anyone can see me and then speed away. I make a quick stop to Star Labs to grab my suit then to Tori's house.

I get to her house in 2 minutes and see her outside sitting on her porch with her bag and phone.

She looks up from her phone and her eyes widen.

Tori: "Holy crap..."

Barry: "Are you Tori?"

She nods her head quickly.

Barry: "Well I'm supposed to be taking you to the hospital so shall we?"

She gets up slowly and walks over to me. I see that she looks confused so I just pick her up bridal style and zoom to the hospital.

We make it to the hospital and I set her down leaving to put on my normal clothes then sitting by Caitlin.

Tori then walks in and sees me and I smile.

She walks over to me.

Tori: "Tell me how the hell you know the flash."

I just shrug and go on my phone.
