"No. 25, time for your medicine and check-up." Hajime said as he burst into cell 13.
"Yes, sir!" Nico smiled. "But I need my friends to come with me."
"Why is that?" A tick mark formed in Hajime's head.
"They make me feel safe." Nico replied.

"Kaguya?" You asked while looking at the list of patents for today.
"What is it, Y/n?" The feminine android replied.
"Who is Nic-o?" You asked, confused at his name.
"Ah! He is supposed to be here any moment now. Give him this medicine. Two and only two when he walks in. My father will give him his check up." She said and walked away before handing you a small bottle of pills.
You stood there, alone until you heard the door open. "Hey! I'm here for my che-...." the green-haired inmate's voice dropped when he laid eyes on you and froze.
"What is it, No. 25?" A guard asked from behind him.
He stared and froze, as well. "Nico? Hajime?" Two boys asked there names and turned their heads to you.
The last one who had a long braid and a cap on appeared beside the green-haired guy. "Hello. Do one of you happen to be Nico, No. 1325?" You smiled at the boys.
"That's me!" The green haired boy spoke up.
"Hello, Nico. I have your medicine. Go sit on that table while I go get you a water to help swallow those pills." You smiled.
Nico did as you told. The other boys just stood there, admiring you in your uniform. ⬇️

You noticed there presence as you filled the glass of water. "Are you here for a check up, too?" You asked, teasingly.
They blushed at your soft tease. "No, miss, those are my friends!" Nico said.
"Well, helllooooo~what might your name be?" The guy with the braid asked as you popped Nico his two pills.
"Y/n." You said as you walked around the inmate.
You sat down, next to Nico and handed him his medicine and water. "I'm guessing you're new to Nanba." The guard said.
"Yes, sir. I am Nurse Y/n L/n, pleased to make your acquaintance." You stood.
"Hajime Suguroku." He replied.
"I'm Uno." He said, getting in your way.
"Yes, uhm-hi...Uno." You said a little bit pissed off.
"Y/n," Kaguya called, "my father wants you to do Nico's check up while he finishes up some paper work. All you have to do is check his heart rate, make sure it's not too high or too low of eighty beats per minute, and check his temperature to make sure he doesn't have a fever. Also, please check his eye." Kaguya ordered.
You nodded as she left the room, once again. Your eyes turned back to Nico's, "You don't mind, do you?" You asked.
He had a slight blush. "O-of course not!" He stuttered.
"Maybe you could do a check up on me, next." Uno winked from beside you.
"Mmmm, I'll have to think about that...no." You replied bluntly.

After Nico's checkup, the door slammed open. "Sorry to bother you, Nurse L/n, but No. 11 got in a fight and he's beaten up pretty bad." Seitaro said with a hand on the injured boy's shoulder.
"Leave him to me, Seitaro." You ordered.
You sat him on a table and had him remove his black tank, revealing his muscular upper-body that was bruised and bleeding. "Wow, Uno, you got pretty hurt...who did this?" You asked.
"Ugh, Upa." Uno rolled his eyes.
You grabbed a wet paper towel and bent down to his chest. You bent down on your knees and looked up to him, "Now, this might sting a bit so squeeze my hand, but don't move." Uno grabbed your hand firmly.
"B-but I don't wanna hurt you..."
"Trust me, Uno, a squeeze on the hand is nothing compared to your injuries and bruises." You replied.
You dabbed the paper towel on his upper-chest and abs, receiving only a few small squeezes on your hand. You then grabbed the disinfectant and told him to do the same thing if it hurt. This time, you received tighter squeezes on the hand and even a few yelps as you disinfected his injured chest. You disinfected the few small cuts on his face, as well, receiving a couple hard squeezes. While bandaging his injuries, you and Uno talked. "Why do you...help people like me?" He asked.
"I heal people like you, aka inmates, because I believe they get treated poorly. Even if charged with murder they still shouldn't be tortured after every small mistake they make in a prison." You explained while bandaging the cuts on his face, "Besides, even criminals need care."
