**Alex POV**

I think I will regret making that promise with Pan, but not now. Now I was nice and safe in a tree house that looked similar to Tinks tree house. It was the best space I have had to sleep in for a while now. The last few weeks I have done nothing but sleep in cages.

It was early morning when I woke up hearing noise from down below. Quietly, making sure I was not noticed by whoever was down below, I crept up to my window to see who was there.

I was a little surprised to find a lost boy hanging by my tree. When he saw my head pop out from my window, he stood up and called up to me to come on down.

“Why should I?” I asked as I watched him from my window.

“Pans orders. He said that if you caused any trouble, then I was allowed to attack you, so can you just come on down?” the boy asked as he held out his spear in his left arm, a little hesitatingly. I rolled my eyes.

“Fine, I’ll be down in a moment.” I turned back into my room and placed my hair back into braids, well I tried to put my hair into braids is the better phrase. I grabbed my shoes and my only knife that I had left and finally climbed down the ladder.

“Finally! You took forever up there.” The lost boy exclaimed as he watched me walk toward him.

“Well then, now I’m here, so let’s get going then.” I stated with a little annoyance. The lost boy shrugged and started toward the forest. I followed behind him with a small grin. I knew why Pan sent this lost boy and to tell the truth, I think it was smart of Pan to do so.

When we finally reached the camp, I was greeted by many glares and angry faces. I guess the lost boys haven’t gotten over our last little meeting. I looked around the camp, expecting to find Pan somewhere leaning against a tree and showing off his annoying little smirk, but instead I found Felix walking toward me, with his club resting on his shoulder and his face giving off a small grin.

“Look whose arrived.” He stated as he walked over to me.

“Hello there Felix, I like that black and blue mark on your eye. Wonder who gave you that..” I asked while letting the question hang in the air. He glared at me and lost the little grin he had before.

“How’s your head feeling? If I remember right, last time we met I knocked you out with my club.” He asked in reply. Now it was my time to glare at him. So he was the one who knocked me out.

“So, what are you doing here anyway Alex? Going back in your cage?” He asked, tilting his head to the side with curiosity.

“Actually no, I’m here as your new trainer.” I replied. Felix face changed colors immediately from pale to red anger in a matter of seconds. But before he could say anything in return, I saw Pan walk out of the hide out tree and started walking over to us.

“Oh hello there Alex! Did you cause any trouble for Andy on getting here, or were you a good girl for once?” Pan asked with his smirk.

Andy, the lost boy who had been very quiet the whole time Felix and I were annoying each other, looked up at Pan with alertness.

“Nope I was all good. But thanks for the little escort.” I replied as I crossed my arms.

Andy, who had been showing a little pride before, turned bright red and glared at me.

“Little? I am not little.” Andy stated, as he, unmistakably looked up toward me.

“Sure.. Now Pan, why did you call me here so early?” I asked, turning my attention back to Pan.

“Why to train the lost boys, like you promised.” He replied as if that was the only answer to the question.

“Wait Pan you can’t be serious! She and that Indian girl almost killed all of the lost boys a few days ago! How is it a good idea to have her train us now?” Felix asked with complete outrage.

Pan just shrugged as if it was no big deal. “That’s the point Felix. She almost killed all the lost boys last time. Now she’s going to train them so that it won’t happen again.”

“Now Alex, what are they doing first?” Pan asked as he turned his attention back to me.

“Call over all the lost boys. We’re going to play a game.” I stated and was surprised to see Pans face actually lighten up a bit at the word game. He nodded and the turned and called out to all the boys. “LOST BOYS GET OVER HERE!”

It took less than a minute for all the lost boys to run into the camp at full speed and circle around Pan.

“All right you lot, I’m sure you remember Alex over here.” Pan asked as he pointed toward me. Many glares were exchanged between the boys and I, but Pan didn’t seem to care.

“She’s going to be training you all now. In fact, she’s going to start your training right now.”  Pan turned his attention to me as the rest of the lost boys started to let the message sink in that they had to be friendly to me.

“Well? What’s the plan?” Pan asked as he crossed his arms and watched me.

I glared at him for a moment before turning my attention back on the Lost boys.

I must have been crazy, to think that I could pull this off, but instead of getting shy from all the attention and mean glares from my new bunch of “Students”, I walked forward so that I was in the middle of the group of lost boys.

“All right you guys, since I barely know any of you and I doubt I could name off all your weaknesses off the bat, we are going to play a little game to test what your strengths and weaknesses are.” I called out. The boys seemed to become a little uneasy at the thought of me knowing their weaknesses.

“I played this game a lot when I was back at home and it is the perfect game to play on a first day of training, like today. So, who’s up for a game of Hide and Go Seek?” I asked with a grin.

I heard Felix laugh, so I turned to him. “What’s the matter with you Felix?” I asked with fake curiosity in my voice.

“I don’t think hide and go seek is the best way for us to train, don’t forget, we are not a bunch of wimps from your dads boot camp.” Felix replied with a smirk.

I rolled my eyes and fought every nerve in my body to not go over to Felix and hit him very hard in the head.

“Oh trust me, this isn’t your normal game of Hide and Go Seek. Think of it as the game on Steroids.”

I then turned back to face the rest of the group.

“All right losers, pick your weapon, you’re going to need it.”
