Skull Rock

**Emmy POV**

One moment I was standing in Tinkerbelle’s tree house staring at Peter, next thing I knew I was standing on the beach next to Tiger Lily and Tinkerbelle.

Once we arrived Tiger Lily fell to the ground, shivering as if she was freezing. Both Tinkerbelle and I gathered around her and tried to warm her up and talk to her at the same time to figure out what was wrong, but nothing happened. She stayed mute while she shivered violently with a blank expression on her face.

"Maybe you can save her with the Pixie Dust" I considered. Tinkerbelle nodded.

"Sure I will try." She replied as she took out her bottle of Pixie dust. She was about to uncap the bottle when a voice was heard from behind us.

"That won't work, so don't try it. You will need it later anyway."

I turned around and there sitting on the rock in the water sat a mermaid with long blond hair that surrounded her pretty face. I must have been staring shocked because she smiled, waking me up from my daze. That fish has teeth.

"My name is Jewel. By the look of that girl shivering, it looks as if Pan has cursed her. You can't fix it with Pixie Dust." The mermaid replied. I looked at Tinkerbelle who had her eyebrows raised as if she did not trust the mermaid.

"Then what do you expect us to do then?" Tinkerbelle asked; her voice coated in annoyance. The mermaid’s eyes narrowed.

"I don't know what this fairy’s problem is but if you guys want my help then you should calm down." Jewel replied.

"Who thinks we need your help...” Tinkerbelle started but I cut in.

"Tinkerbelle shut up." I then turned back to Jewel. "What do we do then?" I asked. The mermaid’s eyes softened as she looked back up at me.

"I might be able to save her. Bring her here." She replied. I turned toward Tiger Lily but Tinkerbelle stopped me.

"Emmy what is your problem. You're crazy to believe a mermaid. They kill people for fun. Why should we trust her?" Tinkerbelle stated. I was about to answer but then Jewel spoke.

"You're Emmy? As in the friend of Alex?" She asked. Tinkerbelle and I both faced her surprised.

"You know Alex?" Tinkerbelle asked surprised. Jewel smiled, making me a little uncomfortable, and nodded.

"Yes, we owe a great deal to Alex. I am glad to finally meet the best friend of Alex." She replied as she turned to stare at me. I gulped.

"Uh, well sorry to tell you this but Alex is dead. She fell of the cliff a few days ago by Peter Pan." I replied. I watched as Jewels face went pale and then she started to cry and placed her hands over her face.

I starred at Tinkerbelle and saw her face soften, but then she turned back to Tiger Lily and she shook her emotion away.
