"Put everything away except for your ballpen."
I quietly gazed at Ms. Lin while she's distributing the test papers. Today is our long quiz in Science, the one that Ayah taught me. 80 items, not bad. I used to have 150 items for a long quiz before.
I've decided. I'm going to pass this test. The thing is... ilang mali ang ilalagay ko? Isa? Dalawa? o tatlo? I'm having an inner debate on how I'm going to take the quiz.
Argh. Bahala na. my inner voice cited.
. . . . .
I frowned nung nakita ko na may 20 minutes pa bago mag-dismissal.
Damn, I'm already on the third question to the last at hindi ko alam kung tatapusin ko ba 'to o aantayin mag-5 minutes before time bago sagutan yung natitirang tatlong problem solving.
Nakapangalumbaba ako at tinitigan yung test paper. Ewan ko, but my hands is moving by its own kapag gusto ko talaga na tapusin ang isang bagay. That's why I'm here looking stupid while I'm stopping myself on writing any further.
"15 minutes left." Ms. Lin said.
The whole class was filled with growls and complains.
"Ma'am, ang bilis naman!"
"Ma'am, extend! Extend!"
"Oo nga, ma'am! Extend!"
"Ma'am ang hirap huhu."
"Ma'am sige na please!"
"Extend! Extend! Extend!"I heard Ms. Lin sighed, "Okay, 5 more minutes! Late na kayo magdidismiss!"
"Ayun! Yes!"
"Thank you, ma'am!"
"Okay lang ma'am!"
"Ayan, dali dali! Pakopya nung number 59!"Sinigaw ba talaga niya yun? Unbelievable.
I decided to finish the test.
Call it rude, but I don't really share answers unless kung kailangan. Aminado ako mahirap ang problem solving but I guess kailangan pa niyang mag-aral doon. If I gave her answers, she might depend on me too much na hindi na niya iisipin pang mag-aral just because I'm here.
. . . . .
"Times up! Pass your papers forward."
I left a last glance on my paper before passing it forward. I am confident on the other answers but the remaining, not really.
As usual, nagpahuli ako.
