"How are you feeling?" Grayson asks me an hour later, bringing me some toast.

"Better." I smile, taking the plate from his hand.

"I'm going to stay here tonight, make sure you're okay." Grayson tells me.

"Okay." I smile.

"Wow you didn't even argue for once." He chuckles.

"Where's Ethan?" I ask.

"He said he had to handle something." Grayson says, using air quotations.

"That's not going to be good is it?" I ask, finishing my toast.

"Most likely not but he had his mind set on it." Grayson says.

"I'm going to head up to bed, I'm so tired." I state, getting up and cautiously walking towards the stairs.

I change out of the uncomfortable dress and into some pyjamas before crawling into bed. A few minutes later I hear the door creek open. "Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you. I just wanted to check you were okay." Grayson whispers.

"It's fine I wasn't asleep." I reply before he begins to pull the door shut again. "Grayson."

"Yeah?"

"Can you stay with me? Please."

"Of course." He says in a husky voice, walking in and half shutting the door.

"You think it'll be this bad tomorrow?" I ask, shuffling over so Grayson can get in the bed.

"I get the feeling Ethan is sorting Matt out." He replies as I pass him more of the cover.

"Bet you wished I stayed in my old town after all this." I sigh.

"Not at all. My life was getting kind of boring anyway." Grayson says.

"So was mine." I sigh, resting my head on his chest and snuggling up with him and the covers. "Do you mind if we finish this in the morning?"

"Not at all." He replies softly, pulling me closer to him with his arm before resting it on me.

The next morning I wake up alongside Grayson who is asleep, I wouldn't say he snores, more breathing heavily. I try to move but his muscular arm holds me in and I eventually give up trying. "Grayson." I whisper. "We have to be at school in an hour."

"Or we could just take the day off like all the other kids with hangovers." He replies in a hushed voice.

"Neither of us drank enough to have a hangover." I scoff.

"Lets just pretend then." Grayson smiles, keeping his eyes shut.

"Well I need to get ready then." I sigh, sitting up.

"Or you could stay here with me." Grayson says pulling me down again.

"Then the girls will think I don't want to come in because of them." I say, sitting up again.

"But you don't." Grayson says, laying me back down and climbing over me.

"Yeah but no one knows that." I scoff.

"I know." He smirks.

"You don't count."

"Why is that?"

"You're not like them." I smile. For a while I get lost in his eyes, just staring up at him as he stares down at me.

Grayson trails his thumb across my lip before slowly leaning down and kissing me. I could of stopped him if I wanted too but I didn't. I really didn't want too. The kiss is gripping and passionate and soon our lips move on sync as if they were made for each other.

"I can't." I say.

"You can't what?"

"Do this."

"Why not?" He asks.

"Ever since my parents, I feel like as soon as I'm happy the world is going to come crashing down around me... and I don't know if I can survive that."

"I'd protect you." Grayson says softly before leaning down and pecking my lips once more.

"I really like you Grayson, I'm just scared."

"Don't be." He says, pulling me up and on to his lap, he holds my waist and gives me a look that no girl could resist. "Just tell me to stop and I will." Grayson places his lips on mine once again, I like him too much to stop this. I let out a quiet and blissful moan as he bits my lip.

Suddenly, I hear a loud crash come from downstairs which pings Grayson's eyes open. Quickly, I throw the covers off me and run out the room. "Kristen!" Grayson calls, chasing after me.
