"What do you think your doing, taking on the cheerleading squad?" Ethan asks, examining the side of my face which has a scratch on it.
"I can handle them. I'm not just going to let them pick on someone I care about." I say referring to Tessa.
"Now you know how I felt this morning." Ethan says to me.
"It's different." I say.
"How?" He questions, turning my face to his as he stares deeply into my brown eyes.
"Don't." I say. "Don't put me in the position where I have to push you off me."
"Then don't push me off." He whispers.
"Then just let me go and I won't have to." I tell him, looking anywhere but his face. "Please."
Ethan removes his hand from my face and I drop down from my tiptoes to flat footed, I quickly take a step back from him. "Thank you."
"This doesn't mean I'm going to stop." He tells me. "I will never give up on us."
"I didn't think you would." I sigh. "But you should stop, I'm with Grayson now."
"There's something between us, you can admit it or lie to yourself but there is and I'm not going to stop-"
"Kristen?" Grayson's voice says which echoes down the hall.
"Down here!" I call from the lockers.
"Are you alright?" Grayson questions, running over and hugging me.
"I'm fine." I reply.
"They got you good." Grayson says, running his thumb along the bloody scratch on my cheek.
"Barely." I say. "It was just her ring, doesn't hurt much."
"Looks pretty sore." He tells me.
"Stings to touch it." I say, pulling his hand down from my face and locking my fingers between his.
"Could of been a lot worse." Grayson mutters before kissing the crown of my head. "Um, thanks Ethan."
"I'll see you guys around." Ethan says.
"I'll come, my first lesson is with you." I say to Ethan but I instantly feel Grayson's hand grip mine more. "Don't worry, he's ugly." I tease.
"We look the same." Grayson scoffs.
"Precisely my point." I smirk before he quickly grabs me and dips me down.
"Apologise or I'll drop you." Grayson smirks.
"Never." I laugh.
"The punishment shall come your way then." Grayson says before pressing his lips to mine as he pulls me up.
"If that was a punishment I'd love to see the reward." I wink at him.
"Come on." Ethan says, grabbing my hand. "We're going to be late."
"Since when did you care about being late?" I ask as he drags me down the corridor. I check back on Grayson seeing him staring at mine and Ethan hands which I quickly pull apart.
"Aww is your boyfriend watching?" Ethan asks.
"For your information, yes he is." I reply.
"And you wouldn't mind me holding you hand if he wasn't."
"Actually I would." I snap.
"Sure you would princess." Ethan scoffs.
"Stop Ethan just stop! I am not your princess or any other nickname you give me! And I am especially not yours!" I yell before storming into class.
