"Hey." Grayson smiles.
"Just the sound of your voice makes me feel so safe." I sigh, leaning back on the fresh grass but realising what I said I quickly sit up again. "Did I say that out loud?"
"Yes, you did." Grayson chuckles.
"I miss your laugh." I state.
"I miss you." He says. "You said I made you feel safe, what's going on?"
"A lot and not a lot." I reply.
"Riddles confuse me." Grayson states.
"Then imagine how confused my brain is if that's all that's going on in it."
"Kristen you've got me worried. Are you okay? I knew I shouldn't of sent you on this trip. Where's Ethan?"
"I'm fine. Ethan's in the hotel room."
"And you are?"
"At a park." I answer.
"You hate parks during the day, what's Ethan done?" He asks.
"Nothing. Well something but-"
"Again with the riddles?" Grayson scoffs.
"I shouldn't of called." I sigh.
"No, I'm glad you did. I miss your voice." He says.
"I miss you too. Things were always so simple when I was with you."
"Then you probably shouldn't of kissed Ethan." Grayson says with a laugh.
"Which brings me to my next point. I don't know if I should even tell you this. But now, we haven't just kissed." I explain.
"I never thought I'd say this but tell me you just gave him a blow job."
"I can't say that."
"Because it's not true or because it's gross?" Grayson asks.
"Because it's not true." I sigh. The phone call ends, it just shuts off.
I throw myself back on the grass. What have I done? Who can I even tell?
"Kristen?" A familiar voice questions.
I open my eyes one at a time to see Tessa stood above me. "Tessa? What are you doing here?"
"My dad has a place here, I come when there's a vacation." She replies. "What are you doing here?"
"I suggest you take a seat." I sigh.

I tell Tessa everything, from me having sex with Grayson, to the kiss with Ethan and what happened with the holiday situation, then I move on to telling her about sex with Ethan, the dumb thing he said after then the phone call with Grayson.
"Say something." I sigh.
"You really changed their lives." She laughs.
"More like ruined." I groan. "What should I do?"
"I think Ethan is either the best thing for you, or the worst thing." Tessa says.
"But Grayson-"
"Is your safe option, you love him deeply, he was your first, but he also gives you everything you want. He doesn't challenge you like Ethan does."
"Are you a therapist now?" I laugh.
"Guess so." She chuckles. "Let me ask you something, who do you see yourself growing old with?"
"Grayson."
"Who do you see yourself having sex with?"
"Ethan."
"Like I said, Grayson makes you happy but Ethan is giving you something Grayson isn't." Tessa explains.
"You want to get lunch?" I ask.
"Sure."

We sit in some pasta place and tuck into our food almost as soon as it arrives. "I like your hair." Tessa tells me.
"Me too." I smile. "It's my natural colour."
"Makes you look like Kendall Jenner."
"I wish."
I look down at my phone, a few missed calls from Ethan but nothing from Grayson. Was it a mistake to tell him?
