"I need to shower." I say. "Get his touch off me."
"Are you sure?" Ethan asks. "Even though he didn't quite get to do it, we could still go to the cops, get his fingerprints off you and stuff."
"I can't do that now." I sigh.
"Why not?"
"Because then nothing would stop him ratting on you and Grayson beating his ass." I answer before plodding up the steps and into the bathroom where I scrub my body twenty times over, never wanting to stop. I cry in the shower because I know there no one can hear me and they'll effortlessly fall down the drain and mix in with the other water.
Twenty five minutes later I get out and dry off, tying my hair in a pony tail and putting on a tracksuit before walking back downstairs. "I thought you would of gone." I say.
"Did you want me to?" Ethan asks.
"For once, no." I reply, sitting on the sofa.
He sits on the low coffee table in front of me. "If you were mine this wouldn't of happened." He states.
"What are you talking about? You were on that corridor, where were you?" I ask, a single tear falling from my eye which I quickly wipe away.
Ethan takes my hand in his. "I promise, I will never leave you again." He leans forward and hugs me again.
"Neither will I." Grayson says, closing the door.
"Grayson." I smile, getting up and running over to him before burying him in a hug. He lifts me off the ground and carries me over to the sofa, sitting me on his lap.
"E, give us a sec?" Grayson asks Ethan.
"I'll be in the kitchen." He says.
"What did you do to Matt?" I ask.
"You don't have to worry about him. I'm more worried about you."
"I'm okay. I showered and I just want to forget about the whole thing. I will not go back to being the pitied girl." I explain.
"What's that?" Grayson asks, pulling my tracksuit shorts a little higher so they're almost as short as my underwear. The pulled back shorts reveal a large bruise, bright blue and clearly fresh. "Did he do that?"
I give a small nod before pushing the shorts down even lower than they were originally. "It'll go." I tell Grayson.
"His injuries won't." Grayson mumbles.
"It's almost twelve, you guys fancy lunch?" Ethan asks, walking back in.
"You guys go, in fact you should probably head back to school." I advise.
"You're kidding if you think I'm leaving you." Grayson scoffs.
"I'm just going to head to bed anyway, you guys should go back to school." I say.
"We just promised not to leave you." Ethan says.
"It's not a legal binding document." I say, getting up. "You have to leave a some point."
"You should get some rest, go to sleep like you said." Ethan says.
"You both are seriously not leaving?" I question.
"Bed time." Grayson says, edging me towards the stairs.
"You guys better be gone by the time I wake up." I smile.
"What ever you say." Ethan states, sitting on the sofa.
"And Ethan, Grayson. Thank you."
