~Elizabeth's point of view
When I woke up I was in a small room in a bed I tried getting up then felt a sharp pain in my side then a young woman came in the doorway and shouted.
"She's awake" ??? Said Down the hall
Then the young lady come towards me with a smile
"sorry you need to stay in bed and rest here" she gave me some water "my name is Marie I'm the healer who took care of you these last couple of days"
"Thank you but how long was I out"I said my voice was weak.
"About 2 days" Marie said
Then a man came to the door way it was the man I had last seen before I past out but he wasn't in his shadow knight form he had blue eyes and wavy light brown hair. He came into the room towards my bed.
"I'm glad to see you woke up" he said.
"I'll just leave you two to talk" Marie said as she left the room with a smile.
"Why did you help me?"I said looking down.
"I did it because what kind of being would I be to leave a wounded defenseless girl out in the forest with shadow souls. By the way my name is Laurence so what's yours" he said
"My name is Elizabeth and thank you for helping me but I need to leave" I said getting up.
"You can't leave your still hurt and/" I cut him off.
"you don't understand if I don't leave right now horrible things are going to happen to this place" I said with a serious look on my face.
"Listen is this about who did this to you" he motioned towards my body "I promise you your safe don't/"
*there was a large banging at the door
I stood up in an instant "don't answer it" I said to Marie
"Why"she looked at me with a worried face.
"There was a heavy knocking again then a voice "Answer this door right now it's the head guard"they said
"Their looking for magic users I have to answer it lay back down"Marie said quietly.
I layed down and faced the wall Laurance looked at me with worry in his eyes. Marie opened up the door then they came in. Of course they went up to Laurance and me. "You and this girl right here need to come with us"the guard said
"why?"Laurance said
"You see we're looking for magic users and I don't think you have papers saying your not a magic users. I'm surprised you don't know that but if you have nothing to hide then there's nothing to worry about" the head guard said.
"Ok but why are you asking to take her too she's in no shape to travel" Laurance said.
"I don't like your tone we don't care if she's hurt or if your hurt all that matters to us is if your magic users or not" one guard said.
"Why are you looking for magic users?" Laurance asked curiously
"you know what how about we shut him up for talking back to us he should show some respect" one of them said.
I don't know why but those words just piss me off no guards should ever treat people this way before I could stop myself I got up Laurance looked at me worried.
"I don't like how your misusing your positions as guards to threaten someone"I said.
"Really your talking down to us don't make us waste are time there's no possible way for you to hold a higher rank than us after all your just a woman" "yeah I bet she can't even lift a sword"one said laughing.
At that moment I was enraged "You really think you can just look at someone and say that to them" my blood is boiling at that point.
one of them aimed to hit me but I stopped him with one hand and got in his face.
"you have no idea of my background or anything about me you think I'm worthless think again" I said gritting through my teeth. Then a end of a sword was about to hit me on the back of my head but Laurance stopped him.
"leave her alone" He said with a threatening voice. "Elizabeth let go of his arm lets remain civilized."he motioned towards me
"Fine"I said then let go of his arm.
"We were civilized the whole time it's just this crazy girl who's uncivilized" Then as one of them said that. The guard behind Laurance I saw was about to hit Laurance to nock him out.
*I transformed and grabbed the mans arm and twisted it. Then one of the guards then shouted.
"SO YOU ARE A MAGIC USER LETS GET HER" The head guard yelled.
They swarmed me but I just fought them with my new found powers. Then I saw Laurance transform too we were now outside of the healers I could feel my wounds re opening and the guards just kept coming lining up to try to aim a hit on Laurance and me. I didn't let them neither did Laurance.
Then the unthinkable happened.
"This is all my fault"
