Continuation of the last part.
They swarmed me however I just fought them with my new found powers. Then I saw Laurance transform too we were now outside of the healers I could feel my wounds re opening as the guards just kept coming lining up to try to aim a hit on Laurance and me. I didn't let them neither did Laurance. I felt enormous strength in my right arm building up then I aimed my hand towards the guards.
Then the unthinkable happened.
I used a spell that was from the relic that caused all of the guards to be pushed back from me and Laurance. Then as I looked at Laurance I only saw fear in his eyes as a surge of magic power came out of nowhere and exploded the area between us and I was thrown to the ground.
A Nether portal is the first thing I see before the shadow knights came out of it.
Everything was like a blur I couldn't hear anything I just saw guards just falling to the ground alongside civilians who were screaming Fire was everywhere and I was just laying there in the middle of it letting innocent civilians die.
*flashback
There was flames everywhere people screaming I was fighting to protect my village from these bandits who kept trying to attack me as my friend Brian just then falls to the ground. I'm alone fighting them. it's obvious that I can't win I dodge and move to not get hit but I was surrounded. Then someone thrown me to the ground. I lost I'm going to die I'm so weak. I just closed my eyes waiting for them to finish me.
But no one moved I opened them to see a man who is their leader. "we found you descendent of Menfia you've evaded us long enough." As he said that he knocked me out.
Who is Menfia?
*end of flashback
Dam it I'm so weak why couldn't I save them. Then I saw the shadow lord come out of the portal with a dark brown haired man with blue eyes. I heard them talking in almost a whisper.
"Gene this is the power I was talking about." then he started walking towards me. "Oh looks like We found the cause of this power" he said with a smirk. "Gene take her with us." I could feel myself losing coincidence as he came towards me. Then I saw Laurance in the darkness staring at me something in his eyes told me that he wanted to stop him but he turned his back into the alley and left. I closed my eyes and realized that glare he gave me was to warn me.
