Sonic: Tails, we swore never to talk about that ever again! I hate remembering that day...the day I almost died.
Tails: Don't say that. It was my fault! I shouldn't have given Shadow the Master Emerald.
Sonic: Hey, but Spikes is gone now and I'm still alive.
Amy: What are you guys talking about?
Shad: I heard the word dog. Are you guys talking about Spikes?
Sonic:Yeah.
Amy: Was that the dog that Eggman switched Sonic's brain with?
Shad: And the day Tails and I almost killed Sonic.
Tails: But-
Shad: It wasn't all your fault, Tails. I could've held back, but I guess the idea of killing Sonic kept running through my head and I got a bit too hyped up about it.
Amy: That was so sad.
*knock knock*
Sonic: Who could that be? *gets door* AAAAAAHAAAAAHAAAAAAHAAAAAAHAAAAAAHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! *runs away to his room and locks door*
Tails: Sonic!!?? Who was it?!?!
???: S-Sonic! Sorry!
Shad: That voice......NO!!!!!!! *runs and chaos controls to Sonic's room*
Amy: This is weird!
Tails: Let me see who it is. *walks to the door* OMIGODOMIGODOMIGODOMIGODOMIGOD!!!!! *runs to his room and locks his door*
???: *whimpers like dog* Sorry!!! Me no mean harm!!! Me want nice!!! Me want no evil!!! ME WANT NICE!!!!!
Amy: *grabs hammer for protection and walks to door* Sp-Spikes?! What are...what are you doing here?! I thought you were dead!
Spikes: Amy!!! Me sorry!! *licks Amy's cheek* Me want nice! Me no want evil! No one understand!! They run away!! You listen right?
Amy: *puts down hammer* Of course, I'll hear you out.
Spikes: You so kind!! Me like you, Amy!
Amy: *giggles* Come on. I'll go get my friends. Just make yourself comfortable, and don't ruin anything.
Spikes: Me know!
Amy: *runs upstairs to get her friends* Guys, come on out! He's not here to hurt us, he wants to help us beat Eggman.
Sonic: Don't feed into his lies, Amy!
Spikes: *actually followed Amy* Amy!
Tails/Shad/Sonic: *scream*
Spikes: *whimpers* Me sorry me ever come. Me leave now. Me no wanted. Me say bye.
Amy: Spikes! No, don't leave, sweetheart. Guys, get out here now! He's trying to be a good boy, but you guys won't let him! He came to us for help.
Tails: *unlocks door and peeks out a bit* S-S-Spikes? Is she telling the truth?
Spikes: Tails! Me so sorry! Me no mean harm! Amy tell truth! Me swear!
Tails: *walks out* I-I don't know if I should trust you. You hunted me and almost killed me.
Spikes: Me know and me sorry. Me no know you. Tails listen?
Tails: *slowly pets Spikes' head* O-okay, Spikes. But only cuz canines gotta stick together.
Spikes: *wags tail happily and barks* Me so happy! Me so happy! *licks Tails' cheek*
Tails: *laughs* Okay, boy. Down boy.
Spikes: *pants with tongue out*
Amy: Sonic! Shadow! Get out here now! Don't make me get you myself! I've always got my Piko Piko hammer!
Sonic/Shad: *peek out the door*
Spikes: Sonic! Shadow! Me sorry me ever hurt you. Me want you friends! You teach me good and nice!
Sonic: Amy, could you translate, please?
Amy: He said he was sorry for hurting you and he wants you guys to be his friends. He wants you to teach him how to be good and nice.
Sonic: *looks at Shadow* He said he was sorry.
Shad: Yeah, I know. O-okay, we'll give you a try, but one mess up, and we're out.
Sonic: That's our rule, okay?
Spikes: *nods and wags tail*
Tails: You know, he is kinda cute when he's not trying to hurt him. *scratches Spikes behind left ear*
Spikes: *pats foot and sticks out tongue*
Amy: Tails, I think you found his favorite spot. *giggles*
Spikes: You teach me nice?
Sonic: Yeah, we'll give you a nice lesson.
Shad: We'll also throw in a grammar lesson.
Spikes: *pouts and starts tearing up*
Amy: Aww, Spikes. What's wrong?
Spikes: They make fun my grammar.
Amy: Don't listen to them. They're just kidding. I like the way you talk. I mean, you're only a dog, but it could be better. Don't worry, we'll help you. All of us.
Spikes: *smiles and licks Amy's cheek* Me thank you Amy!
Amy: No problem. Come on, let's get teaching.
